What will Blizzard do?

Care to link a source to back up this statement?

And SoD is not retail.

Well I don’t know, I don’t use my feelings to rationalize others’ actions to fit a narrative I have created in my head.

Look, I get the frustration, but with a 45 minute Q you might as well remove the bracket altogether. Especially when the premades still get games while the solos get to wait it out long, according to what was stated above, so essentially that just punishes the solo players the most. Then the solution just becomes to join the premades, anyway, if you want play time.

This topic pops up often enough with good examples of possible solutions, but accusing Blizz of purposefully sabotaging the game, or saying they think it’s okay what is going on, doesn’t solve anything. It’s childish and doesn’t move the debate forward.

Increased wait times would be the result of further spreading the playerbase into different brackets (eg. Premade epic BGs and solo). People suggested better solutions such as mixed factions and deserter debuffs for not accepting queue.

Blizzard isnt purposely sabotaging the game, they are probably just ignorant of the current state of Epic BGs, because people cried about premades even when you came across them once in a blue moon in previous expansions. Its like the story of the boy who called wolf.

I never accused them of sabotaging their own game, I said they appear to think the current state is acceptable. Instead of 45 min queues for a possible decent game, my alternative is to just not play at all, which sucks.

I’ve dipped into about 10-15 games since my most recent break and it’s enough to know that they still just aren’t worth playing as they are. During DF, I often spent up to an hour and beyond in queues for Blitz games, some days would only get a handful of games but they were actually good fun games mostly and still gave a reason to enjoy playing. That was short lived though and now even blitz is just another sorry state.

I got you an easy fix for that.
All players that queue get in a pool and teams are formed randomly without faction restriction (yes it will be more fun to have a group of NE Orcs Gnomes and Undead fighting alongside each other) .
There will be an algorithm that matches healers , tanks ranged and melee DPS and try to match the ilvl of the team of each team to prevent a disadvantage.
In the end it will be way more fun that most people think and it will crush the sync as you may be in the same BG but end up in opposing teams.
I would love to see that and if it fails we can always roll back to the current sucky system.

Nothing. This is how it is since vanila, the only reason it wasnt that prominent back in the day is because people had different mindset and were limited by the technology of their time.

They won’t do a damn thing because if they’ve proved anything over the last 20 years is that they do not give a crap about random battlegrounds.

The lack of population → PvP players ← may have something to do with them leaving the game due to unfair game and being totally ignored by Blizzard?

Well, i`m sure the lack of population will INCREASE for sure when people have had enough of 24h premades vs randoms in “random” bg. I mean, how can Blizzard even think it’s fun, or ok, to be completely overrun by premades every time you sign up for a “random” bg? It’s not even fun to play in a premade team vs randoms. Its just silly.

Blizzard need to take these concerns seriously. The frustration among PvP players is evident in numerous forum threads and discussions. Ignoring these issues could lead to further decline in the PvP player base and make it difficult to attract former players back to the game.

Random should be random,
or call it something else: “Graveyard simulator 2025”

Premades are the cancer killing the whole PVP segment, all those people should be permabanned as well as their TOS breaking q addons and other illegal stuff. If Blizzard do nothing with it, they just dont care.

Imagine PvE players leaving the game the day Blizzard made dungeons/raids/mythics impossible to win. Something tells me they wouldn’t yell ‘hip hip hooray’ over shorter queue times, and that they would eventually stop trying after getting wiped, with no chance of getting further, over and over again.

I’m just guessing here, but my logic tells me that making game content impossible, is not a solution for shorter queue times.

I agree, they should add AB vs npc to be up all time.
