Waves of premade groups vs. random players are killing the joy of playing PvP (!!!). A lot of people are extremely fed up with it, myself included. The number of people who immediately /afk from BGs where premades vs. randoms take place is only increasing. People are stopping playing WoW or taking a break from the game. I find myself playing less and less WoW, opting for another game instead. People express their frustration on forums in hope of changes being made, but feel totally ignored by Blizzard on this topic, with moderators saying âitâs not against Blizzard rules.â"
Personally, I feel like some feedback from Blizzard on whether they are going to do something about this or continue to ignore this? Let us know!
If premade vs random âisnât against Blizzardâs rulesâ, then i think Blizzard should change their rules before there are barely any pvp players left.
I think itâs in the name ârandom bgâ that it should then be random vs random (only). Let premades meet premades, and letâs see how good these people who make premades against randoms really are. I think they will feel less âsuperiorâ when facing other premades, when itâs more even.
And maybe itâs good for them, you know, to âget off their high horseâ. I would think that a good PvP player would want a challenge and not gang up on random players with worse gear.

Following this topic closely I can only say that thereâs no news from developers.
In similar SOD âexperimentsâ after feedback they moved small and large premades against premades only and solos vs solos. The result was that solo queue time expanded significantly whilst smaller premades suffered against full premades, not necessary organised ones.
After some more feedback, they merged it back again because solo queue waiting times could be as long as 45+ minutes.

Good to know. Another game it is then.

In my opinion a solution is to implement MMR in the unrated modes, the more you win, the more challenging it becomes, however queues might increase, but I believe matches will be decent in terms of quality, and you will likely pair with like-minded players that play to win as you progress.
A 45 minute wait is way more preferable to a 5-10 minute wait than 20 minutes of completely wasted time in a BG or a 15 minute deserter buff, at least there would be some chance of the game itself being worth playing to start with.

The 45 minute waits were started with half empty battlegrounds because of serious lack of population. The population forming (small) premades intentionally to get into the premade queue for faster queue times balance be damned then.
If you have to queue up 45 minutes, each BG, multiple times through the day at a certain breakpoint it is simply not acceptable. It is wasted time sitting in queue for a match.

Make Random and Epic Battelground crossfactionable.
You will no have time to wait (in theory).

As opposed to the current 100% totally acceptable situation in BGâs?
Queue for maybe 5-10 mins, queue pops and youâre versus a premade, half the raid leaves instantly and the rest is just a merry go round of joiners and leavers for the next 20 or so minutes. No chance to win in so many of these games as youâve been well outnumbered and outgeared from before the game even pops in your queue.
Queue again, same again, and again and again for some people, these people have wasted every single minute of being in the queue and the non entity that was supposed to be a game, literally whole days wasted.

And compared to retail how much or less pvp participation was/is there? Do you perhaps have numbers that can be compared? Bgs were kinda end content back in the old times unlike now.
I dont see the problem, perma ban the queue abusers. Voila, now you only have legit players queueing. No change needed

Especially if they livestream it

And its logged in their community ingame, that is enough proof
Dont compare sod with retail if will be a solo que in retail only for randoms que will not be long
Literally no one is saying that lol
With so many topics, posts, comments and there is still no reaction?! Do the devs realy care whats going on? Increased que time is just an excuse from doing something!

time to boycott epic battlegrounds. now that venruki has also highlighted this and the exploits are public knowledge there will be a bigger wave of exploiters. after 4hours in epics tonight i have faced 9 premades loata and zennie and the last one wasnât premade just extremely unbalanced. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8ONdxmv_7Q&t=54s report function doesnât work, blizzard ignore forums. nothing left to do but stop epics.

We have been highlighting and complaining about the issue with premades now for over a decade on these forums, in tickets and any other way people could. Blizzard 100% do not care about PVP or the players, they have proven that by consistently allowing these kinds of behaviours to dominate the game. They have ignored the problems so much that itâs gotten to the point they canât do anything about it otherwise theyâd lose half of their players who are actually just bots and farmers anyway.
If people want proper PVP that is fun and competitive and fair, from a company that is bothered about the people who pay their wages, then you need to go find a completely different game from a completely different company as Blizzard are as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

That is exactly what they are saying, if they are saying that they trialled and found that 45 minutes was too long to wait, but it is fine to wait 10 just to have a 20 game that isnât even worth playing. They donât even have to say anything, their actions, or lack thereof, tell you everything you need to know.
No, that is not what they are saying, that is all conjecture based entirely on your upset feelings.

Well, what else do you think the are saying by doing nothing with the current state of things then telling us that a 45 minute wait is unacceptable, regardless of how terrible the games are without the wait?
