What will happen if i "skip" BFA leveling?

This is my first character to go for 50 and i was forced to play in BFA zones . I hate it and i just finished tiragarde zone ( with all story line quest finished) and went on with war campaign in zandalar, but i just stand it , i cant even bring myself to complete the first quests there.

What will happen if i just leave BFA zones and try to hit level 50 with just dungeons and battlegrounds ? All of my google research says i need 1 character to level 50 and BFA “Story” completed ? What does BFA story completed means ? I have to do all 3 main zones story quests + all war campaign bull****?

All i care about is if i can use chromie on my second alt character that i will start playing once i get to 50 on this druid

Some requisites you should try to go for when stuck in BfA leveling are as follows.

  1. Get the three main reputations to Friendly. You will be done with this after ~2 chapters per zone. After that you need not quest. This will allow you to immediately finish the Uniting Kul Tiras Campaign quest, which unlocks World Quests.

  2. Put down the Footholds in Zandalar, Vol’Dun and Nazmir. You will most likely get an option to go back to Boralus when you are done with each, so go back ASAP.

I really cannot think of any other questing that is necessary to do in BfA. You can stick to Dungeons - in fact doing these things should unlock most basic Dungeon Instances (initially you can only do three I believe).

I don’t know, exactly. I don’t think any of us know for sure. I do wish Blizzard had spelled it out instead of leaving it so vague.

As Heavenseeker said, you should get the three reps to Friendly and do the three Footholds. The reason for this is to unlock World Quests and the Flight Master’s Whistle, which brings you to the taxi. It only takes an hour or two, depending on how you play, to get each rep to Friendly.

When you hit 50, you will also get a quest to collect the heart of Azeroth. It doesn’t take long.

Personally, I think if you do just that much, you will unlock Chromie on your alt. I’m not sure, but I think so. I think that you just need to be Level 50 and be established in Boralus.

Ok thanks , yeah the description on BFA story completed is very vague . So just incase i will get to friendly on each faction in BFA

Yes. All. Just do it once :sob:

I started bfa when it came out. I left just after aszhara came out. At point i had enough rep to get slammed with the 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3 war campaigns, naz and mecha as well as the necklace questline, cloak questline/nya when i came back.

I was pulled in every direction and had no idea what to do so i did things in order. This took me three months time to get done. I completed naz and mecha before i even got my necklace and cloak.

It would have been nice to have some means of tracking questlines. Instead i got stuck in “old” content for months. I played it but it was tedious.

I leveled some alts in various expansions through Chromie time. None have done any Bfa stuff. They can go there but the place is phased out, empty. They are offered the quests but I won’t do them, no reason.

Like previous expansions, you can skip bfa and go shadowlands when it’s out.

Well in your case you already had a level 50 that completed BFA “story” , in my case this is my first character to go for level 50 and i do not have Chromie unlocked , im forced to play thro BFA content and level to 50 in there.
