This one wouldn’t be as bad if the darn aimcrosshair would be more accurate and that when I do it in day time the darn bird and the sky wouldn’t be one and the same for my eyes.
very few if any, i liked the absorb azerite and mini games but if im honest i only like them cause they are the easiet to do.
Shellgames, Untangling layline’s, candy crash and Jumping jelly fish.
The alliance penguin vs yeti race (just one of the three) and beachhead are the worst.
My likes and dislikes are pretty much on-par with yours. I like the match 3 and “Slay X dude” because they are quick and painless. I played the hell out of Bejewelled a few years ago, and Blizz actually did a sweet job recreating it in WoW… like I would literally buy it as a separate game.
The ones I don’t like are those that take a significant amount of time and aren’t challenging - the ones that just feel like a chore, ie: Progress Bars.
The other ones I hate are those with multiple goals. For example, Kill 20 dudes, Bandage 10 dudes, and kill their captain. By the time you finish the first two objectives and arrive at the captain, you see someone running the other way because they’ve just killed it, so you have to wait around for it to respawn.
All of the tortollan quests can go suck it.
Pretty much the same for me, all the puzzle ones are great but the bars suck. I’d love to see more puzzles and minigames. Maybe incorporate some of the darkmoon type games but shorter.
Minibosses and Pet Battles as a second
Minibosses felt a bit like good old times when players needed players and couldn’t solo everything
Ley lines is legit great, it reminds me of the Professor ylayton dlc puzzle minigames, and wouldn’t mind it in a more stand-alone setting.
The candy crush rune thing is boring as hell though, it’s mindless, there is no strategy to do it faster, and you will do it eventually, it’s pure rng basically. And without any satisfying graphic and sound effects. But at least it’s short and easy, so still preferable to many others.
the uncrossing one in nazjatar. That’s pretty much it. The rest are either too easy, too boring, or too annoying to do.
The sad thing is, that even the uncrossing ley lines is sometimes boring. Since some of those puzzle require basically a single move to be solved. You can close your eyes and do them, which is annoying too.
Mostly the kill this dude WQ, sometimes the turtle ones if im in the mood for it, the layline and candycrush is ok idk what else nothing comes to mind atm
The only ones I like? the challenging ones, well challenging say that won’t die in 1 blow or 10 sec tops and that can kill you. So that limits me to 1 WQ I like, the one in Nazjatar that’s up for 3 days and that’s tough to solo and even in a group you can see their mechanics.
Rest is just kill simple thrash mobs that pose zero threat to you… Don’t get me started about WQ that are just Bejeweled or that take you out of the world.
Not a wq but i really enjoy the ddr style mini game when you want to open one of those nazjatar chests.
I have to admit I enjoy Shell Game when I’m in the mood. A moment of simple concentration. However, I still don’t believe that belongs in WoW, except as part of a possible separated minigame like pets or archaeology.
As for the rest, Kill Named Mob is the best of them.
At this point i’ve reached 11-12k wq done
The shell thing+caligraphy+nazj treasures+kill one mob are the only i do
I miss pvp wq tho ;(
I think to be the only one to hate leyljnes… anyway the shell game is one of the ones i prefer.
Not bad the killing one target… but when you gave 3000 to kill to fill the bar i go elsewhere
That leyline quest was freaking cool! I discovered it for the first time yesterday and I would really have struggled without sprint hahah. What I have noticed and i’m sure the data will reflect the same…people prefer non combat quests, or quests which do not put you in a position where you have to fight boring and mindless mobs. That’s what we have been doing for 15 years. This train of thought also leads me to think they should introduce player housing and farming (just like in archeage) because it’s entirely different and doesn’t dominate the entire game. I think they tried this with the garrison but the idea was all wrong, it was too over whelming and had too many things to do. Keep it simple! Don’t give us minions to do everything for us either. (entirely my opinion). Growth times help tailor t othe amount of hours people can dedicate to the game too
Totally agree, loved it.
I like the puzzle games. Some are better than others (BfA Bejeweled > Legion Barrels), but they’re generally quite fun. I think the fact that they’re infrequent is also a positive thing. After killing mobs for a long time it actually feels nice to do something completely different.
I also like the bombing runs. Again, they’re different, infrequent, and also very relaxing. You just sit back and aim for some stuff. It has that rail shooter gameplay feel to it.
And the single boss encounters. Whether it is solable or requires a group, it’s all good. You usually get to flex your rotation a bit more than when you’re killing normal trash mobs. And you get a nice sense of reward as well, even if it’s illogical (Hehe, I got all this gold just from killing one mob! ….Ignores the fact that it took several minutes…).
I like the connect the lines daily in nazjatar.
I wish there were more of them.
I’m much the same as others - like the leylines, runelockedchests, shell game etc but would like much harder versions.
Don’t like anything that involves murlocs or naga as I dislike them with a passion and, if you attack one, you suddenly have 20 on your back.
I greatly miss PVP WQ.
Best ones are those where npc wants 10-20 something crafting materials so i don’t have to do some tedious fill the bar for umphteenth time.
