What would happen Valorstones and Harbinger Crest from renowns?

I dont have all 25 renowns. Other like 18+renowns. Since I was slow burned out wow and played other games.

Now I remember old updates remove next new patch.
If I’m still farm rep for Season 1’s renowns.
Renowns’s Valorstones and Harbinger Crest turn into golds after Season 2?
If I remember where I was returned WoW for DF late and first time saw new renowns.

Probably turns into useless grey items that you can sell.
