What would you rate TWW so far 1-10

For me launch week is a 9 so far, and i suspect it will be 9,5 once all the baseline content is released. Its really good. no mandatory stuff, account wide is awesome, leveling is fast, questing is very smooth. what more can i say …

Yea some people moan about earthen not being able to stuff their face with gems, but that’s getting fixed. In the meantime they can stuff their face with mage cakes and potions, feels like field rations tbh but we’re not in the frontline this time :eyes:

So feels about a 7.5/10 here.

It’s unfortunately a bit heavy on my PC, being outdated on hardware and all that.

Id give it a 6, im hyped for the new lore, but there’s been nothing rly to do other than lvl alts, the zones look nice, worst being ringing deeps for me, best being hallow. I get a very Cata vibe, from the expansion as a whole. which isnt a bad thing as i enjoyed cata, but i was hoping for more difficulty in the heroics ala cata launch, especially after it was supposed to be scaled to old Mythic 0 lvl. the zone events theater and awaken machine are just chorish boredom. but i do like hallows event. so yeah overall a 6/10 from me.

8.5/10 so far. biggest issue for me is class balance. nothing is atrocious but the difference between the top end and the low end is big enough that it feels terrible playing for example prot paladin after logging off my prot warrior or blood dk.

other major complaint is The Dawnbreaker dungeon. I think the dungeon would be immediately made a lot better if they just made the ships stationary in the air and didn’t have the 2nd boss patrol.

7/10 for me, only having a bad time with professions as a returning player since mop

yh i feel you on this, especially for alchemy, since when did professions become RNG based? i choked on 800 herbs today and learned 1 recipe

If the delves show some improvement as for the difficulty=experience =result …( well everything ) is going to be a 10/10.

A solid 9 for the concept, a lowly 2 for nothing’s working/we’ve paused this content/we now do maintenance all the time so you make sure you fit into our schedule with your game time.

First impression wasn’t great, zones felt few, small and barren, no new classes and the Earthen do absolutely nothing for me.

BUT the expansion IS growing on me, a lot actually.

Combining current fun level of my specs plus the warband improvements and the high quality of some questlines, I’m tempted to go with at least an 8.5 right now, possibly higher.

My only real disappointment is Delves; I love the concept of a single player dungeon but all the gimmicky objectives really destroy the open ended flow of normal dungeons that focus on just combat and strategy.

It’s as if Blizzard is scared that solo dungeons without objectives would be too boring for people or something.

I’d love to have solo dungeons without any followers / objectives or gimmicky buffs.

Just me, my class, my gear spec and skill and then go as high in difficulty as I can.

About a 4 out of 10.
It looked interesting enough to check it out, but it’s not even been 2 weeks and I’m already regretting the purchase.
What is good about the expansion is what stayed the same.
What is bad about the expansion is pretty much everything they changed and added…
Just as an example: Earthen not being able to regen mana without munching on cut gems completely ruins their “new” race.

Haven’t played since WoD so if I were to compare this launch to that, eeeeeeeeeh lol/10.

I’d say 7/10 maybe?
Music is 10/10 - The bee area had me stunned irl, absolutely beautiful.
Some parts felt rushed, like some cinematics were “off” in some way or another, story has it’s ups and downs but overall it’s been ok. Nothing really stood out.
Vibe is great
Zone is nice
Hallowfall and the light crystal thing is 10/10.
I have no idea how to profession - I just want the engineer mount but idk, 1 day invention and then what, uknow?

I believe is because of the tunning .

They cannot tune the dungeons for every spec .
Tanks are already overpowered since they can just Aoe the entire Dungeon without need of anything . They can heal/ mitigate the dmg and can dps …

Other classes (specs ) example like rogue ( has 1 evasion 1 20% heal every 20 sec ) . It’s a squishy class so the performance vs a tank is going to fall .

Yes it would be nice , but fighting example a boss that hit you for like 10%~ 20% of your health is a bit devastating .

The higher the difficulty the harder would become for squishier classes-specs.

Other than that i’m all in :slight_smile:

I’ll give this new patch of Dragonflight a 0/10, only because I’m a nice person and I won’t go below 0.

Dungeons = good, +5 points

Thematic = good, +2 points

Pay to win (or level up) = bad, -2 points

No raid/m+/pvp season on release = bad, -2 points

Carbon-copy “race” (again) = bad, -1 point

Unbalanced classes and hero talents = bad, -1 point

Button bloat not fixed on classes like Enh Shaman = bad, -2 points

Rogue hero talents bugged = bad, -3 points.

Rogue stealth STILL BUGGED = I hate you, -10 points

Still havent played the game

I hate how DEI oriented TWW story and characters are. From the zones I like only two. So 2/10 from me.

Massive lack of content
Pre-Order
Tiny map/only 3 zones
Bad story
Reputation grinds
Delves are boring, annoying and unrewarding

3/10 Music and Art are good as expected
