The ICC raid buff drops today. It will help people clear LKHC eventually.
But what is your opinion of ICC as a raid? Good? Bad? How does it compare to Ulduar?
How does Wrath compare to Vanilla and TBC?
Difficult question, very subjective and based on perspective, though I guess that’s what you’re asking 
To me nothing will ever top TBC raids. Legion came close but TBC raids and dungeons will remain nr1 for me. That doesn’t mean wrath was bad.
TBC as a whole felt like you’re truly invading another world where the legion has taken over. Even the small raids like Gruul and Mag have a distinct feel. It’s all very epic. Kara alone tops everything in Wrath imo, not to mention Black Temple and Sunwell. Hyjal was ok but tedious so that raid is dead last.
As for wrath:
I like what they did with Naxx. We learn of the raid well before we’re 80 when we quest in Wintergarde Keep. Despite it being a faceroll raid it’s still very nice thematically, though it lost a bit of the sense of danger and adventure because only 1.5 years before we were also raiding in Naxx…
Ulduar to me is the nr1 raid of Wrath. I’m going to ignore the burnout most people had by raiding it for 6+ months. I very much pay attention to the feel and atmosphere of a raid while other only judge it by the encounters and mechanics, which are also important but the feeling you get when you run through the halls is immensely important to me. The ‘why are we here?’, too.
Ulduar felt like an enormous adventure. The LK is the big bad we all know we’re gonna face but Yogg is mysterious.
ICC is a close second for the same reasons. We are finally assaulting the frozen throne. Music, setting and general atmosphere are all great. I do get the feeling I’m going to tire of ICC much faster than I did with Ulduar, and even with a 30% buff I don’t see ICC25hc becoming a one night clear in the near future. The encounters are more technical and every raid member can make mistakes that wipe the raid.

It’s the same as 15 years ago, the raids are getting to hard for me to perform well in and as a result I feel I’ll soon quit and play SoD or something. I’d rather not play at all than play with green/blue parses, my fragile ego can’t thate that.
