For me, it’s the gimmick of adding 10 levels every expansion. Feels like an unnecessary annoyance at this point.
Experiencing the same campaign on all your alts just so you can start having fun is tiring.
That’s just me though. What about you?

The open world, they should just admit to their audience that this is a an action lobby game already.
You’re going to upset Tah.
Leveling, it is now a pure time toll to pay to access “real” content that has no purpose on its own. I’d argue that Campaign quests also fall in that category, except if you’re interested in the story, and even that falls flat beyond the first time you do it.
Forming groups is just so annoying. I’d rather sit 2 hours in an automated queue tabbed out than clicking through this abomination called lfg. So tired of this. Even if I play tank, it annoys me.
The WoW-Coin.
Nothing is more outdated than P2W mechanics. IRL Money should only get you cosmetic things and nothing more.
I want to agree with this, but the world has it’s place at the start of each season, I would rather them make the world more interesting than every zone just being dailies and rares.
I’m not sure how they’d do this, but I’m also not a game designer.
It’s time for all classes to gain acess to all roles.
This restriction was used to force interactions, retail evolved for us to solo most content, this feature now is only there for inconvenience.
What you say makes no sense. Like non at all…
I actually like world content, but the WQ-nerf from the start of DF needs to be reverted, put up more world quests for those who want them, anybody who doesn’t like them is under no obligation to go out and do them as soon as the first raid/mythic+ season starts, which is two weeks into the expansion.
And not just Tah.
Being vague about what you dont understand also doesn’t.
Yet it also didnt stop you
Same. They really should have ended that practice with SL.
Like why fill a hole that has been causing you a constant headache by forcing design bloat as well as devaluing the rest of the game. And then dig it straight back up again.
Ok… the level grind is a buffer to keep us around a bit longer on expansion launch, but that can also be done by just resetting our levels (not squishing or whatever other behind the sceenes stuff they did). And even then there is the gear grind once you hit max.
Least they have tried to keep the world more active. Word quests were a good idea (so long as they aren’t stupidly long). And they are trying to get event systems like GW2 going which is great (Though maybe not so much for rp players in case a event might set their hub aflame).
Flight Paths, they are archaic.
They should use the Genshin Impact model, nodes on the map, click on them, and it gives you the option to teleport to it.
Because the whole thing doesnt make sense.
Some classes not having certain roles doesnt force you to interact. Group-content does.
In an MMORPG where you can play only one character at a time healers and tanks are not needed outside of said group-content.
So what exactly would force you to less interactions when rogues unlock a heal and tank spec? Especially from a solo-player POV?
You can literally do all content with any spec without a problem solo, that isnt specifically labeled as group content.
Also the reason why classes are role restricted is due to sense in the MMO-RPG universe.
When you think about Rogues, where exactly a healer comes to mind? When you think about priests, where you think of a tank?
Would some more roles make sense for some classes? Yes… But all? hell no.
Was working on the engineering profession to get old achievements today - what comes to mind for this thread is that professions from previous expansions should have all the complicated mechanics removed i.e mats from dungeons/raids - just let us buy the patterns/mats, pretty please
Durability for gear
Wallet not being shared amongst characters of the same realm
Transmog money cost removed or make transmog slot specific (so the looks stay the same if you equip a new piece of armor)
Shared reputation and campaign progress instead of individual
Account instead of soulbound gear
Some of these are being adressed via Warbands in the upcoming expansion(s).
You pretty much have the same answer to the question as me. I don’t mind leveling on my main though. I actually like it the first time but more than once is soul breaking.
Not being able to send stuff to your own characters on other realms. But if you trade it a friend, they can trade the stuff to your character on another realm.
Make it make sense.
