I thought this expansion either didnt have many rares as Id only seen a couple highlighted on my map or people were killing them too fast.
Then today I landed almost on top of one! When I checked the map it wasnt showing up at all…
so are they not marked on the map anymore?
They farm that in raid group.
I kind of noticed this last night, rares didnt have their wierd little star, and they werent ones that Id killed before. Could be addons? Or maybe a bug.

I really need to test this with an alt on a quieter realm to see what’s what!
My main is on a popular realm and flying around the Isles all the time and weirdly enough it occurs to me that I never see rates flagged in Waking Shores or Ohnaran Plains…
Only see them in Thaldrazus and Azure Span!
Either that’s a bug or the most weirdly specific bad luck ever! LOL
The only ones that show up on my map are the “Super Rares”- the others I have to target to find.

Yes only super rares show on map. And its a good decision. Otherwise it would look like Zereth Mortis.
Not true.
There is a big cluster of rares in Thaldraszus that seem to have a really short spawn time and are marked with that sad little star thing…none of them are super rares.
Honestly it seems pretty random which ones are marked and which arent!
ok…I think Ive worked it out…
seems like most of the rares are a one time only deal, with just a few (mainly the super rares) being a daily thing.
Given that two thirds of the dragon manuscripts are locked behind rares do you think this is deliberate?
Surely as it stands you would need either an army of alts or a conveyor belt of trial characters to collect them all!
i belive the start only exist if u have not killed it before
