The Highborne from Eldre’thalas are very interesting. Night Elf mages are a good choice.

Pandaren Mage, since I can’t remember last time I saw it.
Plus Dark Iron Dwarf Fire Mage is just badass.
DID Destro Warlock or Fire Mage are the only suitable for them when it comes to casters - but we’re talking here about a suitable race for Arcane.

- Draenei/LFD
- Gnome

have already a female one as frost mage.
This really. Before Sargeras came to them, the Eredar were that magically advanced that the elves of Azeroth look like children in comparison.

Night elf from a lore perspective, can be neat to follow down the steps of a Highborne or a Kaldorei dabbling into it too. I’ve enjoyed doing the latter personally quite a bit.

I like the idea and flavor of both Night Elf and Nighborne mages but my god those animations suck.
EDIT: Male animations anyhow.
I like them personally, better than worgen casting animations at least both female and male. I can’t stand them as casters, it’s why I’ve a Worgen rogue instead.
Would have been my fav race if models weren’t so forgettable compared to their npc version

All dwarves, or just the Bronze ones? Dark iron mages are cool, although warlocks are the more muscular choice for them.
