His question were about what spec would fit him, and not what would be FOTM one week or the other, more about which is more stable and good pick.

Are you 100% sure of Warlock above Boomy? I think Boomy is easier to play (I mean entry level not skill cap). Is it because it has 3 specs and 1 eventually work? Just curious.
Yes, because it has 3 specs instead of 1. You can almost guarantee you will be able to play at least one of them and be ‘successful’.

the myth needs to be dispelled
its good that the system tries to avoid more then one of the same specc in lobbys. otherwise dps who dont play FOTM would have to face two of the same FOTM specc on the regular.

I have a same issue my friend…I leveled every class to 70 and tried playing Random bgs, World PvP and at least once per char Solo Shuffle (some I pushed to 1800,1900) and I enjoy with every class on specific way but cannot choose one to stick with and make myself play it for a long time to actually master it and become even better in PvP. I would really like to become master of one class and not play 13 of them on average level …If you ask me I would prefer class that can outplay in duels and open world almost every other class if I build enough skill through time.
Warlock is kinda nice. If your good you can make or break a game. Get a good fear of and you can make a kill. Time stuns propper and you can stop someone from making a killing blow etc.
However if you like to heal sometimes as well I would go for a hybrid. Something like a Druid and Shaman, they can be everything, range caster, melee, healer. So they might be the safest picks.
Survival hunter looks decent , if you master dr and traps and know how to burst and manage your pet you will have a blast
