lets say i have no characters or exp in wow pvp … What would the best overall class or classes be to learn arena and try push 2k - 2.4k with?
i cant decide on a class so what classes have it all for a beginner?

Depends…if you care to play the game, whatever you enjoy. If you are clueless in all aspects of the game, DH, fury, BM hunter are probably easiest to start learning.
If you just want achievements, whatever is totally busted at the time if you have time ot level.

so my plan is for mainly next season but want to start now, and that is to pick the best class overall for pvp that i can fully learn and master to push high rating in pvp.
so looking more at the general class kit more than numbers as numbers always change

Honestly the best answer if you are going for a long term thing is to play what you both like seeing but also what you enjoy playing. Im one of the ppl who just cant play something I dont enjoy even if its omegabroken.
So if you arent rly too much invested right now and are currently looking towards next season to fully involve yourself instead I would say test a few classes that looks interesting to you since its quite easy to regret later because you got bored of something.
So you can just look up different guides on different classes/specs and see what they do.
Otherwise theres prob some people who could give quite reliable info on what specs are normally the best and safest in majority of seasons.

my issue is this season I’ve played every class to about 1600 (nothing serious) but I cant decide what I want to play as I enjoy all specs for diff reasons that’s why I’m asking more exp people there thoughts on what’s a safe reliable choice to pick.
there arent really safe choices. every specc could potentially get gutted next season.
i would pick the specc i like the most.
but if u wanna go safe, and i assume u play dps, id pick a class with at least 2 dps speccs so u can swap if one of em is really weak that season.
the first thing you should differentiate, do you like Healing, Range Dps, Meele dps, Caster dps?
Which healer do you like to play with, if you choice to play a dps?
the best class is the class & spec you enjoy the most (and a playstyle you identify with) no matter how complex or not, unless it’s like really really really bad in the current meta ig. i dont really believe in a bm hunter (or similar) into other stuff progression
Rogue. The devs love rogue, and atleast one rog spec is entirely busted by the time the championship tournies roll around every season.
I’m trying with DK now and it’s quite fun as it has the whole package - pet stun, interrupts, silences, bubble, grip.
People say its braindead and I tend to agree in some instances, but it is fun
I would say warrior, it’s a pretty simple class. They may not be the best right now, but generally arms is very good. Sometimes arms is bad, but then chances are fury is fine instead.
The toolkit of arms warriors in particular is also quite well-rounded.

thank you for all the responses, my issue with play what you enjoy is the fact i enjoy most classes and specs for different reasons and that is why im struggling to decide what to play as i play 1 and think i enjoy this then il think oh but i wish i could do this like that class then wanna play that haha (falling into that trap) so im more looking at toolkit and what class played well can change the tide of the game no matter how strong or weak there damage is, for example rogue and mage i feel can do that but im sure theres others that can also.
Play a Mistweaver Monk.
Insane mobility, you can save even the biggest idiot with Life cocoon, you can use Revival while stunned to immune your entire team to incoming magical effects, you have a 5 second stun, an interrupt and an execute as a healer, and you can mess with enemy positioning and kiting with Ring of Peace.
Ring of Peace and your monk portal are also very fun tools in casual PvP, and random BGs. You can push people off cliffs and bridges with RoP, and you can be the flag carrier in WSG, put your portal at the top floor, and wait at lower levels. You then teleport back up when you get attacked and they can never catch you.
Bonus: instant queues in solo shuffle, instant groups found in the LFG.

As dps tbh beside sub/outlaw/feral nothing can really do anything by itself in term of tools, ability to setup and execute a game plan.
Every single other dps is all about doing dmg mostly and deny setup(which are extremely boring to me for example).
play what you enoy. 90% of the specs are viable to push high rating and at some point your spec will most likely be s tier for some time.
Just stick to one class and play a alot of games (1000+) to get comfortable.

Mage, always broken, always playable, multiple specs to switch between based on the Meta
Rogue ^ same as above
BM hunter, completely-noob friendly, hard to heal for enemies, pretty nasty CC, all you have to do is sit on top of enemy healer for traps

Both Rogue or Mage require you to main them to be played on the highest level. I’d start with making one meele, one caster and one healer to have perspective of each. For example Fury, Boomy and MW since they are quite approachable entry level and then decide what he enjoys the most.
Then eventually try few specs of type you liked and choose one main.
Has anyone stop to think that as the design of shuffle algo tries to never put same two spec on same lobby unless they are the only people queing for certain ammount of time enough that the matchmakings rules bend and it looks from wider range. Then hence by this design its “best” to play whatever happens to be the most broken as the spec just happens to be overtuned beyond measure like we witnessed ret and boomy for a time and now its this ww
atleast in normal arena if u play something broken u still get matched against the same abomination so its more “fair” for everyone. when shuffle it is complete different as it has complete different rulesets and algo for matching lol
