What's the deal with the event raids?

Mechanics that constantly 1 shot the whole raid and make you start all the way over?! Whoever came up with that idea should not be in charge of this design.

They’re extremely easy. I managed to do them all in one afternoon, despite only just returning to the game. If you’re constantly having problems with it, then the problem may lie with you. Sorry.

That logic is so silly. I just spent over an hour wiping to the LK fight because people didn’t know what “Spread” and “Move away from defile” means. The problem is not always with the poster and it rarely is.

But then there’s smartasses like you stating the obvious that it’s easy but people in modern WoW are just extremely dumb and a pain to play with most of the time.

Obviously one of the problems lies with me, because I’ve never done these bosses before. I didn’t play 15 years ago, I started when BfA was announced. I don’t know the boss mechanics and the way the bosses work, is very punishing if you don’t know how it works.

Lol, sure thing. :+1: :joy:

I didn’t say it was you, I said it may be. I’ve never done them, either, and I’m a decidedly average player, so I’m just going by my own experience.

Just don’t blame everything on everyone else all the time, like your friend up there seems to be doing.

The key is : Take leadership.

In a pug where most of the people never heard of a safety dance or defile, ask for raid assist and start commanding. Put a start above your head, say follow star. Make macro’s for specific fights like :

/rw DEFILE >>>SPREAD OUT<<<<

Spam it.

LFR usually wipes due to the lack of a leader. Become said leader and see results. Yesterday I stepped up the plate yet again, did all 3 timewalking raids without a single wipe.
