Whats the life span of a Drakthyr?

I mean ignoring the fact they have been kept in the freezer for the last 20,000 yrs how long do you think a Drakthyr would live for?

Half mortal race, half dragon. Dragons can become some thousands years, the oldest mortals a couple hundred… so a couple thousand I’d guess.

Most dragons I’ve seen in fantasy are effectively immortal. They just don’t die of old age. Things can kill them, of course.

That said, I’m unsure about non Aspect dragons. The Aspects are currently mortal as well though no?

Hm. Good question, but they’ve been asleep for 20,000 years apparently, so I have no idea.

Nozdormu and aspects of the dragonflights might have been over 20 000 years. Since Azeroth was young, they defeated Galakrond and then they became the leaders and aspects of the dragonflights

I’d say Dracthyr are mortals… At least some called us that.
Meaning… Idk. We could still become like hundreds of years old.

Also we don’t know the exact timespan of creation to freeze to now.

Headcannon: i think dracthyrs live 10.000 years

depends on the drachtyr, some live for thousands of years, other fly into the walls of stormwind

I’m hoping they greatly flesh out the lore behind them in the expansion, because as it stands right now they’re very lean on lore

We have no official info from blizzard.

But since they are not a “normal” race, we cannot really know since they are very peculiar.

  • They were created as an experiment, we do not know if they were created as adults or as children.

  • We do not know how many years they were “alive” during Neltharion’s time.

  • We do not know if there were previous generations before the current dracthyrs.

So there is even a chance that the current dracthyrs were the first dracthyrs created. Generally speaking lore is pretty thin.

Rumour has it, that if u stop maining ur drakthyr they age 3x faster due to heartbreak.

Either half a dragons lifespan given the dragon+mortal thing or the livespan of 5 dragons given the power of every flight running through them as far as Evokers are concerned. Otherwise whatever number of flights runs through them.

The player evoker is immortal as is every other player character.

this question and many others will never be answered as they are dropped like bad turd after the expansion most likely along with the expansion since blizzard don’t learn

5-15 seconds depending on the setup and CDS blown to kill the target.

DH Was great in both Legion and BFA, fell abit in SL and now meta again, DKs pretty much the same.

Monks the only one that got dropped like a bad turd.

That said, the races of Kalimdor and EK are supposed to be mortal races, but none of my characters have aged a day in 14 years :rofl:

3-8 weeks , then most of them will die cuz they get bored of “advanced” class

At start there was high elf group that was very high everyday. They wanted to be lizzards. They mated with random lizzards and thats how first drachtyrs were born. Neltharion hid this secret. Even great dragon aspect thought those elves are messed up.

don’t worry they will make up some high quality lore from the same dark void they pulled the void elf lore from :smiley:
