Wod blood dk(with breath of sindragosa anda lot of multistrike ,wod unholy dk(with necrotic plague),wod Windwalker
,Legion windwalker with Unnerfed Nh 2set and tomb 4set and serenity still kept cd reduction even after exciting(cd’s where halved during it and then if was 30sec it would be 15sec cd and then 7seconds left once 8second window ended but was changed later in expac to 30 c which is then 15 in serenity and ends at 7 but then doubled again)
And before hey nerfed legendary boots to only reduce fists by 1chi instead of 2.
And legion firemage and vengeance dh. and Havoc dh ealry on beofre all changes to momentum builds.
Wrath Pre-patch Ret Paladins were virtually invincible. Probably the most OP class and spec ever in the game. I remember burning down Hordies four or five levels above me. Totally OP but was great fun.
Original launch Havoc DH; It was just crazy fun and mobile.
Aside from that MoP Marksman; Although it all went downhill for the spec from there when they started trying to change Marksmen into Rangers for some bizarre reason.
WoD HFC Arcane Mage with the Prophecy of Fear trinket, so many explosions with Arcane Missiles.
MoP feral Druid was a fun alt.
Legion I did a fair amount of enjoyable arena PVP with my Frost DK.
Also I never played these back then but I was very jealous of Warlock and Rogues back in MoP.
Rogues had that OP shiriken toss thing that made them feel like a ninja.
Warlocks had crazy health pools, demo could crash down from the sky as a demon and destro had pretty crazy chaos bolts.
Warrior with second wind back in MoP was pretty neat and OP too.
Oh and almost forgot, affliction warlock in Legion, drain soul was broken, dot them and heal more than they usually dealt to you.
I dont really remember all the specs I have played and liked.
But I did like enhancement shaman long ago. This was at tbc I think. I loved the wf animation and effect. You just saw mobs suddenly lose tons of hp.
I also liked the wotlk release dk. Sure it was op back then, but I loved stuff like its animations. Those are gone now. RIP that awesome death and decay cast sound and animation.
I play 8 classes and have a lot of fun with them. When I don’t play one for more then a week I almost forgot what to press there, so I have enough buttons tbf.
I am against making classes harder, because I dunno if I will enjoy warrior stance dance for example of paladins seals… I didn’t play these classes when they were old school so I don’t want to find myself clueless.
Gladiator stance in WoD, I get that it was a balancing nightmare but I wish they had tried a bit longer, but I guess it had to go for legion with the whole spec identity thing.
There was just something very satisfying about hitting something with a shield for massive damage, it was such a blast to play, the warrior dps specs right now feel weird to me and very stripped to the bones. Fury with Anger management outscaling Siegebreaker has turned into literally press all the things and arms is like watching paint dry it feels that slow.
I get that some people love these styles and that is fine, Id be more happy with it if there was anything, literally anything else to them. But in terms of pve utility there is charge, leap and shout. There is nothing there to help the team in a pve environment, no stuns, nothing, just press rotation and rallying cry when the healing officer asks for it.
