I only started playing in BFA, so don’t know what was the most iconic “back in the day”. Human?

Makes sense from racials point of view, but was it the most played rogue back in the day?

Depends on spec.
Sub - Night Elf
Assassination - Gnome/Human
Outlaw - Dwarf

I play NE rogue since vanilla, nothing beats Shadowmeld->stealth, takes 0.1 second, it’s like second vanish for free and in any situation.

It seems the rogue class was a bit for everyone in Alliance’s case back in the day? And I guess that’s how it should be, you are after all a “rogue” or a lone wolf so to speak following your own code and moral more than anyone else’s
