So, at least from what I can tell, you can buy every piece of equipment right away. What’s the point of getting their reputation to max, other than the achievement and title?
I don’t think many people really know or really care. A lot of people were disappointed with the 10.2.5 patch, that they’ve wiped it from the memories.
But it’s not reputation, but what they refer too as ranked and I can’t find anything related to what you gain from leveling up those ranks.
Personally I would have liked to have seen Azerothian Archives be a spring board quest chain to unlock a new/further progression to the Archaeology profession. Since it’s just been left to gather dust since BFA.
Where is even the vendor? I cant see any at the azerothian archives excavation site
Ive seen a lot of people happy with it in game via chats after all its just a filler patch and we were told no more major patch’s until TWW i do not think you speak for all and neither do the posters on the forum which count for less then 3% of the EU player base.
This is all based upon what you’ve personally witnessed and myself and no one else can verify what you saw and how many people said something. So I would randomly say that you just saw 5 people having a conversation about how good that poor quality content (which I believe it is) and say you, that you’ve seen a lot of people happy.
So right now we both do not know how many are happy and how many are not. But I would bet money that if they do a survey and every single player voted, you’d see a negative reaction to 10.2.5 in relation to Gilneas & the Archives.
I doubt that as tbh people that actually enjoy the game rarely come to the forums at all espcially to read so many negative people who seem to enjoy wallowing in there own darkness.
People like you seem to love spreading bad vibes, try looking at positives for a change it might make life better and game more fun.
And you’re welcome to your opinion!
But I will say things how they are and no person will make me change that outlook. Just to let you know I have an amazing life and I enjoy the game. It doesn’t mean I can’t say that some aspects of the game are trash.
I dont believe that at all with how much you trash talk basically everything the game has to offer but you do you , its your money to waste on something you clearly despise and enjoy bad mouthing.
Been playing since 2004 and I can say what I like & dislike about the game all I want
I’m truly sorry that my decisions/opinions/life do not live up to your standards.
However as much as I would love to continue hearing what you have to say at this moment in time, it’s 03:25 and I have things that I need to do in several hours (not game related if you wanted to know), so I need to get my very much needed beauty sleep! <3
What US realm did you play on then ?
If you want to know it was Stormscale, an Undead Rogue called Vepo, which I played for several months until the European version was released.
Hate to break it to you, but back then when MMORPGs were released, the US would release their versions anywhere between 3 to 7 months before EU would get theirs. So I’d order my copies from Amazon and then wait. It sucked I had to pay import fees, but was worth it.
I did the same thing with Dark Age of Camelot, Anarchy Online and a few others.
Want to know what servers I played on there as well?
Pretty busy PVP realm if i recall but not very much balanced but good night
It’s at their office in Thaldrazsus, at the bottom of a floating tower near the Algeth’ar Academy.
It’s just a fluff thing to do. If you don’t enjoy it, don’t do it.
Right, but with Time Rifts you at least got something for every new step of increased reputation. A guaranteed mount on your next run, for example. This one doesn’t seem to reward anything at all for high reputation.
I think this activity goes with the community feast as ‘a social but not very important rep grind’.
That being said, I like it. It’s very positive socially.
In a way I miss the days when Reps were just busy work to do at max level.
What was the point of Orgri’la rep? Netherwing only gave you some mounts (which were a bit faster back then).
What was the point of doing Klaxxi rep in MOP? There may have been a few recipes or even a piece of ok gear (probably LFR level).
It’s why I have a had time with just abandoning this tank due to the amount of reputations I was grinding back when I had done the majority of things in Legion and BFA.
Was pretty much dailies, rep grinding and running dungeons with the wife, when she decided to log onto her healer.
Ogri’la had some good gear back in the day. Klaxxi has a scorpion mount. The gear from both could also be used for transmog.
Reputation grinds tend to at least have some sort of vendor where you can buy collectibles at a higher reputation level. This time, everything is unlocked from the start. It is nice, but at the same time makes it so there’s not really any incentive to grind for the rep.
Its an awful buggy mess and how it made it to live is beyond me. The developers should feel shame.
