Whats the point of playing shuffle right now?

Currently the rank 1 unholy DK in EU is sitting at 2309 rating. My goal is 2400. Is there even a need to say more?

I was pretty hyped about pvp coming into TWW and liked what they did with how you obtain the gear. Would be nice if there was a way to get your set without conflicting with your pve but whatever…

After few days I noticed that there was a cap on rating and just dropped pvp… Why should I try if there is an artificial wall that stops people from progressing. It has beed 1-2 weeks since I last played any arena and its kinda sad that there is zero in game motivation for me to play.

Also… did Blizzard just brick shuffle to funnel people into blitz? I dont know, but it looks like that to me and I dont like it. Just imagine the outrage if Blizzard made last 2 mythic raid bosses immune to damage for first 4 weeks after raid release…

Don’t put your goals sky high at the beginning of the season when it’s the hardest.

they hard cap the mmr so u keep playing longer to reach your goal, they usually lose 95% of the subs in the first month or so, this time they are trying a different strategy

making it harder to gain rewards would kill off players faster than them getting it in the first month

i dont even queue into SS because of the MMR problem now
im in blitz instead

ill quit and come back last week of season for SS

I wish I could get hyped about BGs and play blitz… doesnt look fun at all to me

Maybe Solo shuffle just isn’t it.

There’s no way to get 3’s or 2’s because people only look for comps and it’s even WORSE for waiting. Shuffle should have either separate rewards or lower standards,

I leveld my 2cnd Priest and
Atm. I play for rank 100 Holy Priest its just 1800 and i am at 1765, i always Q my lower Priest so i cannot drop
Nothing else too do with this crappy MMR

The shuffle is it. They just need to make people be able to get the rewards instead of making it impossible to reach high mmr

The point of playing right now is basically just improving.

Getting 2400 means a different thing in each part of each season.

If you get it super early, you’re a really good player.
If you get it mid season, you’re a good to decent player depending on inflation.
If you get it late season, you’re a decent player.

Anybody who plays with only rating in their head doesn’t get to improve as fast as those that don’t think about rating and instead think about becoming better. Rating comes faster and easier for them.

Inflation will come eventually, and you’ll get your 2400. But if you focus on getting better now vs. better players, you’ll get it easier.

I get the sentiment but making it literally impossible to push for in game rewards doesnt sound like fun. Thats why so many people quit pvp in TWW…

No we won’t. Mages, rogues won’t be nerfed. And other classes blizz won’t touch till S2.
