No. Twisting corridors is only cosmetic rewards.
Some people enjoy it, I for sure enjoy torghast a whole bunch as an unholy dk

“player engagement” to bad they didn’t work out people aren’t going to redo that place once they get the few rewards (3?) i mean why would you?
What can I get from it ?
The mount or wanting to show off that they got to X level of TC.
I see people riding about on the TC mount, it’s an ugly metal bear and the only reason they’re using it to get about in game over all the other awesome looking mounts is to show off that they completed to lvl 8 of TC.
And I Lol at the posts which say : “I solo’d to lvl 30 of TC, it’s too easy. Make Torghast harder.” More sad little people trying to show off.
A mount you can use in the maw, that is the primary reason to do all that headache.
I spent 10+ hours in Layer 8 before managing to do it.
Ah lol I didnt even realise, I might actually slog my way through the other 90 floors then for that
No point. You can do it for vanity or for fun if it is fun 4 u. Best find a group and forget this trudge fest
Just do it in a group. Way more fun and a lot faster and less likely to fail.
I havent bothered. I dont do stuff in the maw, so i dont really need the maw mount either.
It’s a bit sad playing for fun isn’t a good enough reason anymore apparantly.
I noticed it often goes like this:
Content gives a (good) reward:
“Why are we forced to do this content?”
Content doesn’t give a (good) reward:
“Why should we do this content?”
Because it’s fun? The normal wings end just as you’re starting to get strong.
To torture the player base. Ion does not care about players having fun
The point for me was getting the mount and try something fun. For example there was this denathrius something item that gives you 15% dmg increase for each floor but reduces your health. @floor 18 I had 30k hp but was able to destroy the boss within seconds.
I like solo content like visions, but torghast is even better. Only thing I would change to make it more rewarding, like adding gear rewards.
Cilice of Denathrius. If you are lucky to also get 15% extra health several times, you are almost a god. 500-600k dps. DPS. And still have enough health to survive. ESP if you have bloodgorged leeech x4.
Nope. I got no benefits in form of gear, skills, currencies or anything.
I did it because I found it fun and challenging. I wanted to see how far I could make it with only open-world gear.
It strictly exists for Collectors, it’s not mandatory at all beyond the Anduine quest [which you can repeat the first 6 levels 3 times].
What class are you running it on? If it’s Paladin, you just need more gear. Because Paladin is one of the best classes right now for completing it solo.
Seems like a get good issue tbh.
“I’ve been on this Dark Souls boss for over an hour now. The game needs to give me a buff” is how I view these topics.
Has LFR really conditioned the community into not accepting defeat / failure as an option and normal consequence of life?
I put an hour into my binding of isaac run, that doesn’t mean I expect to win the final fight. I had fun and I learned.
I wiped on the final boss on my DK after 2 hours and felt like there was nothing I could do. I ran it again and saw I was going to face the same boss, so I stacked taunt pets & physical armor improvements where possible.
Sure, sometimes you just get bad RNG, it happens, but most of the time you absolutely could have made better decisions.
