What's the quickest way to (edit: also unlock) Mechagon now?

Quick question.
The portal in Oribos is gone. It allowed to simply port there on any alt. Is there still a shortcut (for Alliance especially) or do I have to go through some intro quests I cannot find?
Or can I fly there manually via the mainland? (The flight master unlock map does not unlock the Mechagon one.)
There’s a gnome NPC next to the flight master in Boralus, starting a voice line, but not offering anything.

Of course you cannot have the crafted teleport item(?) either if you haven’t been there yet.

Why WAS there a Mechagon portal in Shadowlands, anyway?

I never knew there was a mechagon portal in sl, but now you just got to take the portal to kulthiras in the capital

(Next to the Oribos flight master were portals for Mechagon, Karazhan and Gorgrond.)

You just use the flightmaster once in Kul Tiras

You had an intro quest that got you there.
But I tried and you can indeed actually fly across the sea without exhaustion timer.

There are no quests, though! So I need to find the intro quest somwhere!
It is weird that the gnome NPC talks about it but has no quest. Do I need to unlock Nazjatar or something? This is getting way too complicated. I seem to remember that with the Oribos portal the quests were there, but I might be mistaken.

…So, I used to get Uniting Kul Tiras and with it the WQ unlock from Taelia when being introduced to Boralus. Now it’s not there. No WQs. Is this part of the DF patch mess? Has this shortcut for alts been removed?

RESOLVED: Apparently now really requires various unlock quests chains before Mechagon quest access becomes available. The last step is unlocking WQs in Nazjatar.
