On the subject of this “well I’m needing cause of that guy”, this kinda stuff is the negativity that came with RDF that people try and blame RDF for, but realistically, it’s the community… RDF didn’t dictate people act like this, they chose to… And then they chose to blame RDF for ruining the “social aspect” like bruh… If people just spent their time being nice instead of toxic, RDF would be great.

Im not making it worse because I dont take part in needing on everything, neither do I defend those people. All im saying is that its not surprising a game that is neglected by its devs/company attract those kind of people

Thing is if the majority of the community took a stance against those people, they wouldn’t still exist, the positive side of the community was larger, and had the power to do so, but instead it just basically became Anakin Skywalker lmfao

Because we spend all that time going through the raid, dealing with all the noobs dying then and then nothing good drops. So i go fk it im taking what I can so this wasn’t a complete waste of time.

I think he’s talking about dungeons, though.

Besides, who even uses group loot in raids? We don’t even in our guild runs.

Edit: I also think you’re playing the wrong game if all you want is instant gratification and win-it-all-every-time. That is not how most MMO-games are designed. If you think doing something for no immediate reward is wasting time, WoW might not be your cup of tea in the first place, and especially not the classic games.

Same same.

And just ROFL on that edit comment.

Why are you typing raid then if you’re talking about dungeons?

The laugh is on you btw, thinking you deserve special treatment for “wasting your time”. You’re just a player playing a game, like everyone else. Why should someone else suffer because you had bad rng with loot? Next time it might be someone stealing your loot, what goes around comes around you know.

I bet this has to do something with a post i posted (and it got deleted? cannot find it…) that in fact no rule prevents you from rolling literally need on anything. Why should I greed when needing all possibly gives me +100g/dungeon. That’s a really nice bonus, isn’t it?

You’d have to be seriously deep into the antisocial personality disorder spectrum to conciously ruin the gaming experience for four other players, to have the chance of making a mere 100g profit. You can literally make 10x that amount from doing your daily quests in Tol’Barad, which takes like 40 minutes.

But I mean, you’re not gonna get banned. But just be prepared that I and probably most players will detest you and votekick you asap. And that certainly will not give you any rewards.

It’s a Blizzard design and as such it encourages anti-social behaviour. That is one of the new design cornerstones.

Actually it did and has been a problem since Vanilla, ive seen it happen since starting in 2004. But back then newbies were new and genuinely clueless about the loot system, now people like you just do it for greed or because it gives you some sort of ego boost because you feel safe behind your little tv screen…

I need gold and enchanting mats.

So i roll need on e erything on last bosses and on boes

Dont like it? You can just kick me from group see if i care

Wasnt kicked even once

Yes is objectively rude, when I see people like behaving like my bad half, I will need on those items to trade them after the roll to the player in the group who needs it most in case we fail to kick him, but on the contrary on what my bad half says we manage to kick the ninja all the time.

No no, I am not doing it and never did.

All I was saying is that if I will ever be in a party with that guy , I will Need on everything. He knows why. I got silenced on forum for 7 days because of him!

I am now curious if I will get another forum ban because of the above … :man_facepalming:

Neah dude! I will do it only, but only to you if I will ever be in a party with you!

You lot are the same meatheads who would fight over bread and eggs during corona.

Why do we praise humans for their intelligence, again?

This is why it often happens with Firemaw/Gehennas players tho, cus once the server is 30k+ players big, it has no real sense of community anymore, it’s too big.
Everyone’s a nameless face in the crowd and while some try to keep a list of “bad actors” around they’re also fighting an uphill battle there lol.

Can I have do you need?

Yeah, and that’s exactly the issue. If there only was a way you could join only with your realm or asmaller group of people. Then such behavior would end up making me vkicked out of every dungeon – indeed. But since theres so small probability that you end up with a same player in a dungeon twice, theres almost no motivation for the players to be nice. Because you will probably never see these people again. It is not so long ago, where you wouldnt be even available to whisper to the player who just needed all items after last boss. And what could you do? It’s not reportable, maybe you can say some bad words to him (this you couldnt) but in the end it’s you who is the bad one because you are harrassing others.

In leveling some people say they roll need on gear that no one needs to level enchanting. And I asked how it’s different from leveling any other profession since you can sold item and use that gold for materials.

One time druid tank rolled need on spirit gloves and disenchanted it on my eyes, I was healing that dungeon. When I asked why? He said “cry more”. Classic is extremely toxic
