What's up with raiding pugs?

On Golemagg, which has x2 population than Mograine, there’s BARELY any semi-guild, pug raids. Almost no GDKP, no SR.
Finding a raid is harder than the raids themselves. In Wrath is was pretty straightforward, a lot of runs of any kind.

In 2 weeks it will become easier.

People are in a rush to minmax everything they can. After the other 90% of players finally ding 85 and get decent gear, raids will become a daily quest thing.

Same for the AH prices. I managed to make tons of gold by selling every single mat before Tuesday and now prices are halved, so I’m just buying my stuff back with 50% discount xD

Selling 359 leather belt was the best thing for me during the week, and, probably, whole expansion. kekw.

You could join a guild … we dont take in puggers since we are a full raid squad now

there’s a reason I don’t join guilds, set schedules every week suck. Feels like a job that you have to attend

Perhaps start your own group? The amount of people like yourself who are waiting on others to start things whether its Raids, dungeons etc is crazy high. Be more social since it is an MMO.

you wont see many raids untill DS will open .

why ? simple - because most pugs wont be able to deal with non-nerfed raids

plu first raids are really not fun . a lot of people skipping them - you will see surge iwhen Firelands gets released and then hug uplift with DS around 20 - 30 % nerf.

I like set raiding times personally. That way you can plan ahead & set time off to a few hours of raiding. It becomes what you make it.

But

1. GDKP are not allowed, idk how much blizz gives a f to enforce it, but they did say it’s not allowed.
2. It’s first week, usually it’s the raiding guilds that hit max level & start raiding asap.
   Puggers usually slacks a bit.

this is not SoD that GDKPs are not allowed. On cata gdkps are very legal.
And I wanted to do gdkp on Golemagg as well, but the same story, only a few of them running not even being advertised on LFG, only some discords

they are not allowed only in sod. in cata classic you can gdkp all day long.
