Yeah. I don’t even mind the big fonts as much as the huge voids of wasted space.
The spell book in its “minimized” form does not display more information than the old one did, but it needs almost 2/3 of the screen to do it because of the gigantic emptiness between everything
Well, you can’t expect a small indie company to hire experienced UI designers. So they probably had some intern do it.
I really dislike these windows that take up your entire screen too, preventing you doing things in the game world or having multiple windows open to multi tasks.
Sometimes it feels like the design team are so out of touch and have never actually played the game.
Did they at least increase the size of the ingame calendar? ya know that super tiny pixel in the top right of screen that most people doesn’t know exist, have to continiously explain to people how to access the calendar. - I aswell dislike these big bulky windows, like the profession window, I play with a larger UI but theres no way to shrink the profession window (even with the compress / minimize button, it does nothing, It still covers the entire screen. We used to have neat little menus, Now its like unfolding one of those world maps when you open up anything. As Vetinari said, What’s with this waste of space everywhere, If one could individually scale down/up each kind of window, that’d be great, Instead of the UI scale/zoom affecting everything.
