What's with the horde and capital death traps?

Thunderbluff? Elevator will kill you if you miss it.
Undercity? Elevator will kill you if you miss it.
Zepplin? Again death if missed!

And then there is orgrimar, which has it’s flight point at the top of a tower that will kill you if you drop off.

Meanwhile Alliance just has to deal with crocodiles, once. And maybe murlocs.

The famous lava pit in IF

Its funny but true, got myself 7 tombstones in one spot in elevator while visiting undercity.

Stormwing falling into one of canals and meeting with lvl 50 rare elite crocodile.
Darnassus is just a DEATH ROAD awya from Stromwind. Deadly experience even for lvl 10 when mobs in wetlands are lvl 22-23 on that road.
Ironforge watch falling into lava pits and ones near the bank.

Lava pit? Now I played since 2006, mostly alliance, and I never ever fell into any lava pits. I died more times from elevator bosses, and a few from crocolisk, but lava in IF … ? Never medt that one - where can you fall in? Got to try - on not HC toon

If you are careless and open world map while auto running in Ironforge you can find out that fences are too small to hold up even a gnome from falling over the edge into lava where the forge area is.

The things OP mentioned (And the apparently infamous lava-pit in IF) all seem like “Pay attention to where you walk and you’ll be fine”-things to me…

Then play Alliance if you want to min-max elevators, boats and zeppelins, but I never died on those without fooling around.

The bridges in Thunderbluff makes me nervous. I havent had the courage to test if the railings actually have “mass” or if I just run through them to my deaths. Yes Im on my forst ever horde character.

I feel same way, I tested a bit on non-HC, and at least some places fences hld you in.

OK thanks, will have to fool arund

Yesterday crocodile killed my lvl24 guildmate. These are no jokes

TIL there is a crocodile in the sewers.

As said, that is often a one-time experience, and mostly done by lvl 1s wanting to start in EK.

That one needs commitment.

IDK maybe those are Stitches lifts that are killing people. I play for the Horde on Nek’Rosh and so far no problems with elevators here. However if I would feel uncertain I would take the sewers entrance.

In Stormmwind, however there was a recent video of someone pulling that alligator to the streets where it almost managed to kill multiple bank alts.
