Well… 8.2 was Naz’jatar and Mechagon for BFA. 9.2 is late like one year and its the end of expansion. Thats how bad things are.
There is one issue (for me at any rate) with this, you’re level 60 in level 50 questing gear (maybe ilvl 50 if you’re lucky).
There is no good catch up gear system like Benthic gear (Korthia gear doesn’t count as Stygia is not easy to get, I have none).
Korthia gear is very viable I currently have 51K Stygia (and have been spending it) and 45 of the Armaments collected from questing in Korthia on top of that.
You can level to 60 and have a full set of 200 gear ready and buy one 230 item (usually neck as there is no neck in the armaments.) I did it 8 times in the Anniversary event.
Seems like a very accessible catch-up system to me.
I don’t do the Maw so have no Stygia. I had around 9k but then the Korthia unlock sent me to Venari to do stuff in the Maw and lost it all.
It doesn’t work for me. But for you it seems to be fine.
Sorry, this is a load of crap. Gearing is 100% the same as it was in BFA and Legion, the only difference being (minor one) that 2 items drop from a M+ rather than 3, and (major one) that there is no titanforging and warforging.
Essentially this means that you are forced to either play the highest content possible to get max ilvl (which is stuff that the same people that were minmaxing in Legion & BFA do even in SL), or if you are a ‘casual’, you just do your +15 and wait that you will eventually luck out on vault loot.
You are exactly what’s wrong and what I’m mentioning. Before you were showered in epics and you were ‘done’ in reasonable time (quoting you), but now that you can’t do so, you are whining once again.
It wont solve anything. I believe 10.0 will be the last expansion wow will have. The community is impossible, and it’s impossible to make everyone happy, and as said multiple times, I’m not defending them and their mistakes. But players are pure garbage nowadays.
Very true. They need to have a clear direction and say what the game will be and tell people ‘this is how it is’ if you like it you stay if you don’t then off you go. At the moment they are trying to please everyone but in the end are making almost everyone unhappy.
I feel WoW needs to get smaller, attract a more united player base that all want similar things, allow those that are unhappy to move on and then grow from a position of strength.

Few reasons here
You cannot touch people loot = HATE
You cannot change the game like this
saying we go back to the ROOTs
but we are far away from the ROOTS = HATE
I know people are maybe fine with lvl squish and all the squishes but
There is no true progress anymore with squish after every expansion
you are going UP and then blizzard is gonna take it away from you = HATE
You think that people want the game being SLOW
but people love when game is rewarding them all the time
shadowlands doesn’t have that = HATE

Damn i know alot people found islands boring but that was my chill time with 2 ladies I used to chat with on discord. Just get them all done on mains and alt for the mounts and mogs.
More lfrs to jump in , world quests and emissaries were easy and fast. Could jump into a zone , boom done in less than 15 mins.
I could do stuff in bgs on alts , in SL you get one shotted because dudes running about 252 all day.
The leveling zones far superior. Not amazing but better. When I level in Shadowlands my first choice where to go is which zone I dislike the least.
Professions again were more exciting and fun than SL
More zones to travel too and do content , mechagon , bfa , Nazjatar. The warfront zones offered lots of nice dailies , mogs and mounts to farm.
SL just has no content , Korthia is tiny and it sucks. I’m tired of the maw which if you look back at my posts at launch I already thought it sucked. Torghast is boreghast/choreghast. Albeit they did improve it alot in 9.1 Still very ZZZ
Blizzard spending all subs on the 1% Mythic bunch - that is not your player base, well it is now everyone else went on to play other games.
