It could be the quests, lore, design, theme or style for example… or isit something you felt missing or would like to see more aspects of in future zones?
Mine is Revendreth. Love the atmosphere, and also found the quests questing expereince quite interesting. Plus the armor sets you get from the covenant.
Ardenweald has to be my second place tho!
Whats yours?

Revendreth was my favourite. The Gothic architecture and the atmosphere in the zone was excellent.
It’s rather disappointing having to be Kyrian on my Paladin.

I personally really love Ardenweald. The colors, the big trees and how it sometimes changes, gets darker and has like this starfall going on. So many screenshots taken there.
Revendreth comes second, it’s just so cool with the gothic look.

I generally don’t like sl zones, but let’s say Korthia. I spent most of my time there and it was ok.

Maldraxxus.
Why?
Because it oozes with what World of Warcraft is really about, from conception. Arena’s, Battles, Plague, Liches etc etc. It’s such a feel good zone, the music is awesome and first time going through it really brought me back to remember what I loved about the game.
After Maldraxxus we went to Ardenweald where we were telling fairies to do songs and dances… and well everything went down hill VERY quickly.

For me, there was no option BUT to be Kyrian on my Paladin. My Paladin needed those Wings!

Ive always loved at least one zone per expansion, however, although not hating any in Shadowlands, i cant say i particularly liked any of them, for me Nagrand from TBC will always be no 1

I’m working my way through all the covenants to collect things but it’s an overwhelming task even for just the things my Paladin can use.
I’ve done Venthyr, done most of Kyrian bar PoA, most of the way through NF now, think I have one more 20k anima purchase left, then it’s on to Necros.

Ardenweald by far in terms of music and nature/ beauty. It was a tad dark tho.
I also loved Revendthreth for all the little Alice in Wonderland refrences which i LOVED. specifically the potion scene.
For Questing: Bastion
For Visuals: Ardenweald
Maldraxxus and Ravendreth annoyed me too much questing to really enjoy it.
In terms of aesthetics, Revendreth is absolutely my jam. I may be a 37 year old banker but inside I’m still that 14 year old goth kid who was overlyinvested in the character of Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
As far as characters and story I found Maldraxxus to be the most engaging and enjoyable.

Thats a monumental task to do. Is that for all armor types, or just plate at the moment? Have you worked out how much Anima you needed altogether?
I’ve been collecting through out. But I’ve not been bothered with any of the mini-game except PoA. Mainly because I couldn’t work out what was going on with most of them, or they were some how time-gated.
There is no zone in Shadowlands I even remotely want to be in.
Every zone in Shadowlands would be in my Bottom 10 Zones of WoW.
The Maw, of course, is by far the worst, but AFAIAC they are all awful in concept, design, and musical design.
(P.S. Sorry, forgot Zereth Mortis. It’s not great - it’s rather bland, and the music is not to WoW’s traditional standards - but it’s not in the horrible class of the others.)

Ardenweald, I would change it to have less fae/fairy type stuff though and be a little less heavy on particle effects.
the log in screen, after that shadowlands just goes downhill

Ardenweald. Most of my chars are that. Regardless of if they do well with it or not. For me it is the easiest one to get the most out off.
I’d say Revendreth, it’s essentially one big city and probably the most unique and creative zones they’ve done for a while imo.
