Is there any spec that you really dont like to fight against? Or maybe it triggers you someway?
For me its a zug-zug fury warrior. Their constant charging and shouting like they are some kind of pros. It triggers me all the time And thats why I decided to become âwarrior slayerâ. As a survi hunter I practiced to be better at killing them and now its much better than it was at he begining. Im basically tunnel visioning fury wars every time I see them in the bg xD
Every melee because we do cannot run away and do not have enough defensives.
Every ranged burst, because we do not have proper a 1 min cd defensives.
Every heavy dot class, because we cannot remove or sustain dots.
u remeber back in Tbc , LK , MOP when aimed shot did 570% damage this was times before doubel tap. when they added doul tap the splitted aimed in half to 250% âŚ
now when doubel tap is gone it is time to get that 570% damage aimed shot back again
just did a arena with a guardian druid/Warlock we were 2 hunters we killed the lock
then the druid we kiting about but could not kill him after about 10 minutes he killed the other hunter and 5 mins later got me it ended with him on 90% health he healed over 5 million during the match
EXACTLY THIS. Just had the exact same thing happen to me. We killed the fury warrior but the guardian druid killed me and my feral. There wasnât anything we could do. The guardian druid ended up doing 1.4 m damage and 1.6 m healingâŚMy damage was 1.7m and healing was 349kâŚBLIZZ WTF. In all of my 10+ years in WoW Iâve only encountered something similar once with a blood death knight booster way back. But after some 20 min atleast I won there. Edit: I have the screenshot
Demo lock is probably the biggest counter. I have no problem against warriors. DHâs can be a bit tricky sometimes depending on how many demons they spawn but is also ok to fight against.
Just drag them away from their healer and behind a pillar and trap them behind there, and at the end of the trap throw a root at them and let them suffer while you train their healer. Can also play with the pvp talent that makes freezing trap undispelable to make it even easier.
I improved a lot when I just decided to dedicate a few matches to focus on kiting and surviving instead of focusing on killing and doing tons of damage all the time. When you get good at using your defensives/mobility to survive it getâs a lot easier. Even in solo shuffle itâs not to bad to get trained by two melees if you rotate your stuff and position well.
One thing I noticed is that I wasted my disengage far to often. Sometimes bursting shot into a tar trap is more than enough to just get some distance. Even just using concussive shot + command pet ability to be immune to slow is enough to get good distance. If they then charge into you then you can disengage, if they charge again use FD and Steel Trap to walk away. If they leap into you, use scatter shot and walk away. We have toooons of stuff to get distance and avoid damage.
