Whats your opinion on mythic + raid transmog

I think it would be a good thing to give mythic + either a new set every season or let them be able to get the raid tier set (recolour) by just doing mythic +. I always like the sets because they are always much cooler then the dungeon set. and we only have one dungeon set all expansion while raids get a new one every tier.

i would love a way to get the tier set by just doing mythic plus. (i dont really like to raid or PvP). PvP has a way to get the set so why not mythic plus.

what do you guys think about it? you want the same set as raiders or a new set. the perfect senario would be all new gear every season. so a different look and different stats.

In my opinion most gear sets in SL and BFA are / were absolut trash in design and in diversity. this whole idea “we give one plate, mail, leather, cloth sets for pvp / raid season with different colors” made it trash. I think we need way more transmog sets for individual classes. also from m+.

Not only in shadowlands. WoW mostly only has over the top ugly tmogs. The people designing armor sets never have heard of the the line “less is better”. Everything they design must be huge, over the top and with bright colors.

But having a simple but good looking chain mail or plate armor? nah they won’t do that. Some of the gray items in game actually look far better and normal than most designs. But sadly you can’t tmog gray items

there are some from earlier expansions

Nah things have always been over the top ugly every since vanilla. Sure it wasnt as bad then with gigantic flying lava shoulders and such. But the design still was pretty damned ugly then. There were no real normal looking plate or chainmail ones

ofc there are. you can so no as often as you want. but there are normal sets without shiny bling bling bonus

They went with the “1 set per armour type” design to conserve effort and make better-looking sets, as well as allow time to be used for other forms of development.

That, as could be seen by the crap sets we got in BFA, was a lie.

yeah thats what many people (including me) said since we saw the first transmog set in uldir. thats one part why many people were so angry about the transmog that went to the ingame shop.

honestly, The only transmog i’m REALLY interested in shadowlands, is the legendary set which isn’t available yet. But when it does become available… I WANT IT.

I’m pretty disapointed he haven’t gotten a single slightly skimpy transmog sets in Shadowlands, everything covers everything.

Kyrians get to show their thighs, Necrolords use very skimpy armor, Sylvar don’t even wear pants and even Venthyr get to show some cleavage, what we players have to wear? Chastity gear i guess.

The sets barely even changed between the lower difficulties and Mythic. It was such a betrayal. It’s just pure laziness and corporate greed in the attempt to cut corners and save money. Heck, look at some of the Covenant sets - Necrolord Leather specifically. Dire.

Funny thing is though, at least the dungeon sets for BFA looked alright. Look at Shadowlands! Look how gawdy and plastic the sets look! They look out of place. They are just wrong! There’s no diversity among dungeons apart from a special transmog here and there.

That all said, if I had my way, I would have put the current CN sets as the Mythic+ set that could be earned in some way or form. Currency? RNG loot? Completing specific keys above +15? Weekly chest?

Then, I would have designed class-specific sets for the raid. Yeah, yeah, they said they were running out of ideas of how to dress up a Monk, but why didn’t they just theme the sets around the raid? You don’t have to go Kungfu Monk yet again! Go Vampire Monk! Same with the rest.
