That’s the blizz algorithm. Once you have something then it doesn’t prohibit you getting it again. Where as when it knows you are hunting for it, the drop rate is kept to the bare minimum so that you have to play more to get the things you want. There is no such thing as a RND roll for items in wow anymore.
I managed to get invicible for a mate fairly quickly after I got mine. I was seeing an invincible drop from ICC at once every few weeks. This is after years of farming the place on many character to get the mount from a drop. I got it from a TWing raid.
Still hurts to just throw them away.
Specifically for my priest, I’d like an angel (or a demon/void lord depending on which spec I’m in) to carry me in its arms as it flies through the air.
