Is the candy crush thing a reference to a WQ or something? I keep seeing it mentioned but I have yet to see something like candy crush in the game.

Its the runes minigame.

In Legion Blizzard introduced a minigame as a part of obtaining one of the secret mounts. It uses mechanic of jewels/candy crush type of game. It’s also available as a toy from jewelcrafting. Here in Naz’jatar there is new type of world quest were you have to play this kind of minigame.

Can we please stop calling a bejeweled game candy crush?

I think calling it Candy Crush is more about the reaction that that name provokes, rather than how ‘correct’ it is.

I remember the Peggle addon. Now that was a fun game to play whilst in Dalaran and waiting around.
