When did underwater breathing debuff bar get reduced from two minutes to 45 seconds?

Something new going on here and for what reason. People hate these areas because it is so slow. The breathing pots are an unnecessary expense. This not exactly endearing people to this sort of dungeon?

EDIT: its not even a full minute. It is now 45 seconds.

I use this for underwater Delves.

Would also like to know why I need to breathe (under water) as a DK… same prob goes for forsaken.

Its just that delve. The other underwater one is still 3 minutes. I have no idea why they thought that was a ‘fun’ feature, it makes the final boss a pita. There are a couple of potions that solve the issue.

… I carry a bunch of these with me - can get from AH

Is it just my imagination or does it go down faster the higher tier you are doing? I haven’t really checked but it kinda feels like it does in tier 8 up

It’s just another mechanic for the player to play around. Some delves have the candle with you losing health outside it, some delves have the poisonous air, this delve has underwater breathing.

As others already mentioned, it’s easily countered with a few water breathing items.

Record and compare. Tin hat time.

Nah… I was just curious, I’ve started using potions to trivialize the whole thing anyway as it was annoying.

Unlike forsaken who embraced the undead, death knights long to be seen as normal while enjoying the occasional beer at a pub. This sensation of longing is so strong that the act of breathing is psychologically so powerful in its presence that the thought of running out of breath not only ends their life in their imagination but in their real physical form as well.

IT: Well, I get that my DK here is a bit weird in that regard, but I would’ve thought not all of them were that… life-bound.

OT: Do forsaken really not need to deal with the breathing mechanic?

I have this on my pally. I used to use it underwater all the time. Very handy. Although my Pally is no longer my main. It’s still in their bags though.

Does it still work since they moved fishing rods into “Profession Equipment” so you can’t equip them as before.

Can you buy them Warbound these days?

Underwater breath back in ye olde days was like 20 seconds or something crazy. I remember drowning a lot.
I hadn’t heard they’d changed it, or is this a Delve only thing?

They dont

because dks aren’t undead, they are ressurected, fully. you even have separate cd named “become undead” or smth.

warlocks too

“laugh in warlock”

When you Equip it, it automatically goes into the profession equipment slot.

Not Warbound unfortunately.

So I assume it no longer works for water breathing in this slot. Can you manually move it to the correct slot?

It does work, it counts as “Equipped” if it is in the profession slot.

Yes. Forsaken officially do not breathe, bar when it’s time to talk.

Thank god for Noggenfogger Elixier.
