I know there is not a date yet but I feel this season has been going on for way to long. I had 2 chars at 227 ilevel 1 month ago and since then there has been no gear progression what so ever since I had bis in every slot.
I know this is not the case for most of the people but will we see 9.1 soon? Are we talking a few weeks or a few months? Guesses?
At this rate, I expect it to drop 2023, and even then before it goes live, we’ll have to unlock it by doing 10 weeks of weekly time gated quests.

Looking at what they had at blizzcon I don’t believe you should expect anything soon.

Apparently TBC is data mined for may 19th or something like that?
So I wouldn’t expect a retail patch for at least a good month after that.
We’re probably looking at end of July / start of August. Which is an absurdly long first tier.

Perfect! Have school holiday then so I can lvl up a few more characters before then and then go all out on the patch

i think its going to be in may. for example the pvp conquest cap atm is at 7.7k conquest . to get a full gear of pvp bought with conquest u need like 11k. excluding vault ofc. i just mean geting it from vendor. after that 11k is completed. i remember lasst time we had conquest gear, u also had time to get some ofspec pieces like dno shiled and 1 hand if u ware a warrior after u got ure arms set . so that means to get 13k conquest we need like 6 more resets. so after that the pvp season will end and patch drops usualy after 2 weeks of pvp season ending. im predicting 9.1 in may or early june
Is there a way to not have bis in every slot on pvp gear?

There’s no way they’re going to release it in May. PTR testing for major patches usually lasts around 2 months at least, and the 9.1 PTR isn’t even up yet. Late June is more likely in my opinion.
its still a lot… the xpac relesed novermber… so yeah long patch… hmm well at least we get time to gear up 1-2 alts b4 we decide what we main in 9.1
May. 18th of May to be correct, I was 1 day off.
Among many new strings for ray tracing and gamepad settings (which don’t actually seem to be used right now), there is also a string “BURNING_CRUSADE_TRANSITION_DEFAULT_CLONE_DATE” that is set to “May 18, 2021”. This could be a placeholder date for when character snapshotting might take place.
It’s likely either TBC launch or the day people are allowed to start reserving names etc. They’re also allowing people to level Dranei and Blood Elves early too, could also be that date.
But I think that’s a strong indiication for mid May / early June for TBC.
try not to think to much about 9.1 yet, the whole spring will past minimum before its here
They’re working with a skeleton crew so we might get sketches by summer.

I think they’d release TBC in the content draught of shadowlands and not on new raid/content release week
At least 6 month per content patch so, may/june for 9.1 is my guess.

Interesting that WoD has been getting a Redemption Arc recently on the Forums, yet as soon as the content slows, currently…
