So when do we get to unlock the real complete flying mounts in the Dragonflight expansion?
This flying chipmunk type of mount quickly got boring even with fully unlocked talents for it.
So when do we get to unlock the permanent flying mounts again?

Probably in a few months when everyone realises itâs just a glorified gliding simulator, falling with style nonsense. Not sure how they can keep selling it for two years as like you said, it gets old quick

I mean they could just combine the two types, keep the gliding with style and the extra speed it gives but add the permanent flying 310% mount speed when the Zelda64 Carrots are gone.

Agreed but blizzard donât have compromise in their vocabulary. And they hardly ever listen to their player base, the Brutosaur is just one example. So many players want it back and there is radio silence so I expect the same with this too. Theyâll drag it on as long as they can

i want my druid flying form too so hopefully they add it in season 1 but it doesnât look like. Maybe never or after the first hype is over. maybe after the next shop mount who knows

Ok please start from the lowest ground in Thaldraszus, then in one go without landing fly straight up to the highest peak in Thaldraszus. Record and upload it to youtube or everyone can just ignore your troll post.

Thought that too the first few days. The more I use it the more better Iâll get. Yesterday I was getting higher and higher while âglidingâ, with all the traits unlocked. I went from one place to another in seconds.
If you manage it right, with all the traits unlocked⌠it can be done!
Oh I donât care enough to bother proving it but it can be done. Be a lot easier if you save that glyph for close to last though.
Even if you couldnât, one place or even a few places that you need to go to âonceâ is hardly a big deal.

Itâs super easy to get up that mountain, or anywhere, once you have the 5 sec regen skill. Look vertical, use gain height skill, level out until youâve got the vigor point back, look vertical, use gain height skill, level out until youâve got the vigor point back⌠etc. Donât even need to use 2 vigor points at the same time. When I say look vertical, I literally mean absolute vertical for about 0.5 seconds.
Anyway, Iâm not disputing that some people prefer the old flying. Saying itâs glorified gliding is just nonsense though. It kind of is at the start âifâ you canât get the hang of it but itâs not long until thatâs a memory.

Although old flying I couldâve pointed to one place, pressed Num Lock, went to the bathroom, brewed a coffee, got back and finally arrived 
With this new one, Iâll get there in seconds, but I have to stay focussed and once arrived I need to land in a place without mobs so I can do my business.
You need to work on your trolling skills young padawan, you are not very convincing atm.
I am just glad we can finally fly from the start! I have always loved flying because it gives me a much better view of the world. I never really understood how ground mounts were viewed as more immersive. A ground mount makes you stuck to the ground, and you canât really see much. Lots of content look better from the sky. First zone really illustrates this, so I am very pleased that Blizzard finally realised that seeing the world from above isnât a bad thing!
We should be getting our ordinary flying too at some point, but I guess they want people to give dragonriding a chance first. I really donât mind it, and I have always requested flying from the start.

At the same time they would usually release a pathfinder or its equivalent. So likely 10.2.
I prefer it over the glorified house fly simulator. It is a more realistic flying for anything larger than a pigeon.
The more likely scenario is that youâll be dead to fatigue. DF still has flight paths if you prefer AFK traveling.
Thatâs not flying straight to your target without any hazzle right?
