when i login to wow it disconnects me from battle.net and vice versa telling me my account is compromised and that it logged in somewhere else

Are they connected on the same machine?
same pc for me. as you can see in the video.
I’m facing the exact same issue as of today. even tried it with another game (Heroes of the Storm) same issue.

Someone else has reported they cannot log into two separate warcraft accounts on their PC. It could be connected.
the problem is it’s the same account
Their accounts are on one battle.net account and since your problem seems to be it logging out on the same account it could be connected.
Logging into your account shouldn’t log you out of the Blizzard launcher.
I have the same problem. I have alts on different accounts, but I can only log onto one account at a time and the launcher is logged out whenever I log into any account. Even just one account logs me out of the launcher.
If it was something at Blizzards end then it would affect me too and it doesn’t. It would also affect a huge amount of people. I’m pretty sure it’s something else that has updated on your machine recently causing it.
My launcher and game haven’t updated in a while but both are up to date. If it’s any use I have the friends side turned off.
My client updated yesterday. Also not everyone logs into the game the same way or has multiple characters on different accounts. If a player is logged off of the Launcher, but can still log into the game, they likely wouldn’t come to the forums to complain about it unless it prevented them from playing an alt on another character at the same time.
Definitely more than just me and Purgery.
