When is Lunar festival?

Hello! Each year I tend to miss the Lunar festival due to IRL problems that happened to show up on January.

This year I’m not missing it (hopefully)

So I have 2 questions

  1. When is the lunar festival 2023?
  2. What should I do to make the flower crowns transmogable ? I would go to wowhead but I find it very complicated and would rather have a wow player explain it step by step.

Lunar Festival typically happens around the chinese new year, which will be the 22nd January in 2023.

To get the flower crowns transmoggable throughout the year, you have to complete a quest “Lunar Preservation” that you can get in Moonglade.

I remember you had to do some running around for the currency after you had only the holiday version unlocked but you could gather the currency with trial toons.

I think each of them cost 25? But can’t tell for sure.
