I doubt. With the update pace they went with this Xpac, i would say we will have a season 4 and a 5 (The latter being like SL season 4 [One of the coolest Seasons i’ve played])
Seeing we have no news yet, not even datamined stuff I’m guessing it’s gonna be around October at the earliest, and then maybe 5 months later in spring the last patch
Seasons tend to be around 5-6 months long, were only just approaching 3 months in so a lot more than 6 weeks to go. Also we don’t even have a release date for 10.1.7 let alone 10.2.0.And no Bellular did not say 6 weeks in his latest Video.
My guess is late Oct early Nov (more likely Nov so we don’t have issues with RWF clashing with Blizzcon)
As for it being the last season. Wow expansions last 2 years(ish) and there’s no reason to think that will be different this time around - which means plenty of time of another season next year.
The only reason for the next season to be the last would be if the devs don’t have time to create another season next year alongside working on the new expac. Given the volume and speed of releases this year I’d be pretty surprised if they don’t already have a plan to avoid a end of MoP style content drought this time around.
Maps are just a change of setting, the gameplay is the same.
For PvE, content is important because it brings new encounters and mechanics. In PvP, the other players “are” the mechanics.
While maps are a change of setting, the gameplay is only the same because the gameplay is the ssame. Maps never change gameplay, but DO offer refreshingness and I personally think thats more inportnant then ‘gear’ and gameplay at this moment because 5 years getting nothing is kind of sstale.
There is no point to argue with PvE heroes(carebears) dragonkillers, they like to play the game on 10-15% of their class/spec potentian(and still fail) and thats it,they dont like to improve and get better understanding of the game. Most of the people are made this way, doesnt matter how much you try to explain them how things work they wont understand you.
