When should I use BoP in Arena/SS? Is it worth using it against classes who can spam purge/dispel?

The title. I still struggle to manage my usage of BoP and I would really appreciate some help!

Bop should be pressed later than lay on hands and bubble vs purge classes, But You should still use it because the 3 seconds they waste trying to purge bop that’s 3 seconds of them not doing damage and healing.

It’s situational.

Sub rogue in the game > BoP teammate early
Deathmark on teammate > BoP
Leg sweep on teammate without a trinket + burst popped > BoP
Kidney shot on teammate without trinket - situationally this is a good BoP to remove the stun so you don’t fall behind

enemy class with purge is CC-ed and your teammate is getting bursted by melees - good BoP (example you have a hunter that lands trap on enemy priest, and then gets zugged by enemy warrior and windwalker with all their cds - this is a good bop because their purge class is CC-ed and cannot remove it)

The above goes for pretty much any melee class, if the purge person is CC-ed, BoP is huge value

Last scenario:

Teammate has a lot of self magic buffs so it’s much harder to purge and getting railed by melees - BoP is good

examples are Ele Shaman, Mage, etc. The more trash buffs people have, the higher BoP value

Fun fact: BoP stops almost all dmg from classes who are treated as “magical melees” such as Ret and DH. If it doesn’t get purged, the value is gigantic and the person won’t die to such classes. The only exception is DK, who does a lot of actual spells that aren’t treated as melee attacks, including their kick.
