Feels like it’s disabled for at least 3-4 weeks now, that’s approximately when I’ve seen the bonus last time. No matter time of the day, no matter if dps queue to random heroic is 7 minutes, still no bonuses
Well 7 minutes isnt long to wait as a DPS, back in the day i remember DPS queues being 20 + minutes. So i assume it is based on a certain threshold of time for DPS queue.
Also people flex a lot better in classic than other expansions and cata tanks are monsters in disguise. Healing is also now “Interesting” and they use the same gearing for OS and MS so it isnt such a wonder.
Really? This is not retail to have STR and INT on same piece of equipment, changing based on spec you have active.
Be at least specific that it’s the priest class which use same gear for both DPS and healing.
Druid might also have same gear if the other spec is balance, since feral is probably on same level as fury warrior and not seen very often, and your claim of using same gear certainly does not apply to paladin class.
Also, I think that healing is not that much of an issue even though healing spells feels weaker with increased health pools, issue is that tank in CATA Classic is all about having tons of health to survive taking hits, but having very little damage mitigation.
That’s why blood DK excel in tank role, not because they take much less damage compared to warrior or paladin. It’s because they can heal themselves effectively.
It’s difficult for both healer and “non DK” tank to enter into heroics even with Justice points gear gathered from few weeks of doing normal difficulty through RDF.
As paladin tank I’ve seen my health to drop from full to 30% in blink of an eye just from group of trash mobs, and DPS don’t care. They’ll pull another pack to speed up the run, giving you no other choice than taking the aggro from them, and if you can’t mitigate all the damage while using all your defensive cooldowns, they’ll kick you because you are not geared enough to survive big pulls to keep up with their pace.
As for the RDF bonus for tank role, I’ve seen one few days back.
I saw them only during the week everyone else noticed them. I haven’t seen them since.
For shamans, priests and druids, both one of thier OS DPS specs and their healer specs stats for the same gearing, for example they nearly all have a convert spirit into hit talent.
So resto druid, balance druid.
Ele shaman, resto shaman.
H/D Priest and spriest.
So might wanna think a little further ahead before correcting someone, just cause 1 out of the healers doenst have the luxury.
Yeah, I forgot about ele shaman. Unlike priest, that can use same gear for all three specs, druid and shaman have albeit optional, yet still existing alternative for AGI based gear.
Feral and enhancement were actually main DPS specs for those classes till CATA.
Also, it’s not like I meant to correcting you, I just pointed out that you phrased it out like every healing capable class is using same gear for all specs, which I as someone who play paladin class found amusingly wrong. That’s all.
i get you, but seeing as also feral and enhancement is a bit of a meme atm, i think it is fair to mostly discredit their usefullness, had they been the best specs over their counterparts the correction would be fair.
Just open lfg window as tank at like 3 a.m. and you’ll see the bag
Are you assuming or have you actually seen it? I don’t believe you, because I’ve checked at 3 am, at 5 am, at 3 pm, basically night, day, morning, evening, it wasn’t there.
As healer with omnicsld I see tons of prot paladins and ret paladins who gonna die with their 10 defensives up I would assume that tanking isn’t hard if tank knows how to play. Same applies to healers (well, actually it’s harder for healers because you have to heal through other people’s mistakes that happen all the time).
Would be nice. I’m a night person and i get the bag once per few days. Even that i do rdf daily at about 3-6 am.
Still looking for someone with the actual bag in the recent days, a video or a screenshot preferably.
Still no sight of it. I checked for it at different times throughout the day. The only thing that has changed in the growing queue wait time. Almost 25 minutes as a healer on a Saturday afternoon (better at night, 7-8 minutes).
