I canāt see it happening because it seems to have been a relatively small percentage of the playerbase interested in TBC (compared to Vanilla and Wrath).
I donāt think TBC SoM would last much longer than a few months before it was barren. Nor would Wrath SoM until looooong after Wrath Classic came to its conclusion.
Where did you get that info? Fine if you donāt like TBC but thereās more than enough demand for it. Just recently there were 2 active threads about a TBC realm on classic era forums and there a reddit post about TBC that has a massive following. Recently a TBC pricate server released and got some traction from streamers.
Sure it might not be as popular as a fresh classic will be but I donāt get why people are against us TBC enthousiasts having at least one or two servers. Pref a progressive one.
Since SoM was a massive failure, I doubt we will see more SoMs. I wish we had TBC era and Wrath Era soon, one huge server worldwide and call it a day.
Youād need at least two - one pvp and one pve
Werenāt they from the same person on an alt?
Anyway, I donāt think there will ever be TBC or Wrath SoM, why, they arenāt called SoM any more.
But seriously, Wrath is still active and TBC doesnāt have that much interest, no matter what you say.
Less so than a fresh classic or next season will have, sure, but there isnāt zero interest for it. At worst they should have given us a TBC era server. Iām sure there would be enough people playing it to warrant one.
I agree, also we should consider the fact blizz squeezed TBC into only 1 year instead of 2.
Iām still kinda angry about this yeah. Was extremely hyped to re-live TBC as itās my fav expansion but in part because of the zerg community theyāve rushed TBC for wrath.
Never, more than likely.
To be honest, fresh Classic has a lot of interest from the same group of flower hopping players, who will abandon it after a month and wait for another fresh. It might be a decent way for Blizz to make quick cash short-term before merging the realm into Era.
Not once in my life did I say I donāt like TBC. Iām just saying that in terms of pservers, Vanilla and Wrath ones have had much more players and longevity than TBC ones.
WOTLK Era is realistic, TBC is Never.
WotLK Private servers are always thriving and last for years, progressing through all content and lasting on the last patch for a long time.
TBC Private servers always die after a few months.
TBC is just boring.

Who the f@#k was TBC boring?!? I & thousands of others had a blast with almost all of itās content
I would play TBC again, they need to do accelerated levelling though because I care not about the levelling process in TBC, I donāt have that much time available and I just want to play the endgame. Having a many hundreds of hours requirement before I get the part I like is way too much.
To be honest, there are a lot of phases of TBC I hated - especially pre-nerf T5, that was frankly excessive in terms of the sheer time it took to clear all content and gave only a few tries per week on any progress boss there. However, I still maintain SWP was the most enjoyable raid I played since Classic started in 2019. Each boss was tuned just right, and the difficulty was on point. Even after weeks of gearing up, most bosses could and would punish you for the slightest mistake. But unlike pre-nerf T5 the raid wasnāt obnoxiously long and the trash was hard but not insanely so, and nowhere as plentiful.
Never. Season of Mastery was one shot. But you can ask for season of Something else.

I will like TBC-C Era and Wrath-C Era servers too, but like Zalanji PvP and PvE from both, please.
I liked TBC, I liked TBC-C and would like to play again - slowly.
I like Wrath-C much less than I thought I would, but would like option to stay in Wrath and not progress to Cata
General consensus.
TBC needs to return, in one way or another, in the next few years.
Wrath classic is still somewhat popular so not now. Cata will come even though I think itās gonna be the least popular āclassicā- iteration, so when the cata new expansion-rush is over it would be the best time to re-release a version of wow that includes TBC, either a fresh-classic that will go through classic 2019 - TBC - Wrath again or a stand-alone (fresh) TBC server.
Just as a sidenote, Iād like to underline that the need for having both a PvP and a PvE server does not simply hinge on the sheer demand for both kinds of server (I myself tend to favor PvE servers, but I digress).
The basic premise for how Blizzardās policy handles moderation on PvP servers (their inability to apply it at times notwithstanding) hinges on the crucial premise that joining a PvP server is a choice, something that you opted in despite having an alternative. This is the reason why any kind of PvP interaction on a PvP server, as long as they admit PvP solutions, are never regarded as griefing - you chose to open yourself up to those the moment you created a char on those servers.
Were they not to offer a PvE option, though, suddenly every player on said PvP server would have a much stronger case for claiming that the griefing they are subjected to on said server is not something they āopted inā, and demand action from Blizzard.
Therefore, it is in everyoneās interest that both choices remain available no matter the numbers and the versions of WoW considered, so that the PvP format remains āoptionalā as it was always intended to be.
