For Winterspring, I don’t think the Night Elves (just like the High Elves who changed the climate of Quel’thalas in an eternal spring) particularly like to live in a snowy environment. The snow and cold kill trees, most animals and nature during winter after all. Yes it’s still a forest, but the snowy and wintery environment do not really fit the themes of the Night Elves (Shen’dralar included). Some Night Elves can live in Winterspring but they should be a minority, not a major concentration like it would happen with a new Night Elf tree and capital grown in that region. (also because the Goblins are already living there in one of their towns and we know they are not a race that really works well alongside the Night Elves)

Possibly - I just think extending over Hyjal as their main base, with Darkshore and Winterspring as their two extra levelling areas would make the most sense, since that would mean all 4 main W3 races (Humans, Orcs, Forsaken and Night Elves) would have 3 zones that are more dedicated to their lore.

The rest have 2 and the allied races have 0.

I personally would have loved for them to remake a new Temple of Elune over the Well of Eternity on Hyjal, but instead of marble stone being used, they use that stained glass walkway that we see in the Well of Eternity instance, towards Queen Azshara. Lots of blues, purples and whites to indicate a dedication to Elune and the glass is used so the player can still see the powerful waters of the Well, beneath them.

The rough terrain of Winterspring could easily work for the Sentinels and Druids.

Darkshore could easily work for the Shen’dralar, Sentinels and Priestesses.

And if Kalibas wants his dream of Night Elf Demon Hunters being part of the Night Elf faction, then maybe they could set up a base camp either in Darkshore or Felwood (with the Blood Elf Demon Hunters setting up a camp in a re-vamped Ghostlands, perhaps on the outer border of Deatholme.

EDIT: Night Elves might not be my favorite of the Elves, but their is a beauty to Darnassus and I do mourn it’s loss. Their is a beauty to the Night Elves that I think should be fully given (just not with what Kalibas was saying, where Blood Elves and Nightborne must be reduced and have nothing so the Night Elves can have everything.)
