Nah the fight is over now. I realised Blizzard will never change or treat the Horde in a serious manner. In the end they always fall back into using Draenei, humans and night elves.
Allright thenā¦ thanks for your service
I tried my best but Blizzard bails in us giving up eventually. Even I folded.
in the end wow has same issue as lot other modern mediums fans arent listened cause they donāt really care for em. Its all about making money and writing things for broader audience which alienates the older fanbases
It is truly hard to care for wow these days as much i used to do and ive seen samething with other people too
It was most likely even executive decision to completly destroy horde and make whole writing as overly simplified they can
Bfa buried the Horde. Being alliance is much less problematic.
Being less problematic in fiction is just another way of saying being more boring tho
Besides, using phrases like that feels like a trap to begin with.
The constant eternal existential threat needs the faction conflict to break it up to not become incredibly stale.
The faction conflict needs the existential threat to break it up to not become inredibly stale.
People who said we shouldnāt have one or the other anymore is like saying hey man lets stop using half of the story beats wow is used to seeing.
And then people wonder why the writing is boring after all conflict has been removed from it. I didnāt even feel at war with the nerubians.
But It doesnāt have to be one or the other though.
If you mean faction problems or existential threat, I agree, thereās moments were both at the same time could shine
For example ICC, yeah we worked together to beat the scourge but we were still trying to shoot eachother out of the sky to deny the other the glory of taking down the lich king. (airship fight) and honestly that was kinda cool
Blizzard pretends the Horde PC taking quests from Jaina or Anduin is somehow normal when they tried to defeat us just a few years ago. That shows how bad the writing is now.
It really doesnt even need to be faction conflict to make things more interesting, it could be just races having their own conflicts even within own factions and even races having their own conflicts with leadership or otherstuff
Alliance side dwarfs going back into the scheming against each other, Human kingdoms having their own nobility who are playing games, Horde side obviously you can do the forsaken conflict with old forsaken and the new, blood elfs and elfs could have their own conflict too with where they want to be loyal to
Yup this is what I meant.
They are doing that with the heritage quests and its obvious that the great quality most came with costed a lot of time , it took several expansions to go get every race in just once.
I would rather the focus still be on faction, there can be better portrayal of races in their faction, but Iād still put the focus on the faction cause then you can just include the races for new narratives freely without having to craft completely seperate race unique stories and will allow more races to hit the spotlight more often as well as showcase their specialties, something that just hadnt happened enough in BFA but was more present in Pandaria
Show me the reliquary doing an artifact hunt against the alliance equivalent where they sabotage each others efforts to get to a relic or something, thats still conflict but doesnt have to be portrayed in all out war.
do you wonder who would lead the Blackrock Clan if Eitrigg was dead too?
Moira ofc.
Yes, but I for some reason donāt think theyāve thought that far because I donāt know any other relevant blackrocks fit for the job right now.
yeah most of them are dead and Doomhammer never had children.
You are replying to youself. Take your meds.
I replied to the wrong message sorry.
