When will this version of frost DK stop existing?

This is ridiculous. Again another expansion where frost is a MONSTER during pillar of frost, but does 1% dmg outside of it. 50k obliterate for 2 runes is sad outside of killing machine. No1 likes breath of sindragosa or likes to play it, since its being forced again. Give us base damage increase and tune the burst accordingly blizz come on. I’ts been years now. Listen to us

Look on the bright side, we are no longer tuned around RNG of reducing our Pillar of Frost, it might feel a bit meeh with the down time, but unlike before were you had nothing to do, you do now i would recommend pull bigger trash packs while questing and go to town, that’s what i do with UH and it just feels so great unlike before where you could not use army at all duo to CD reduction mechanic.

Single target feels a bit boring ngl.

Big pulls though can be quite engaging, if you can get behind the constant tab targeting required to play Shattering Blade properly.

My silver lining is that Deathbringer is both powerful and visually exciting. Those scythes aren’t getting old any time soon. On top of that it looks like they’re doing some small adjustments in 0.5 which seem like net buff to me (reaper’s mark granting killing machine, and an interaction with soul reaper?! On paper reads amazing).

Unlike UH which is easily the most boring it has ever been even though they fixed some major issues. Riders and Sanlayn are both a complete failure of a hero spec if you ask me. Although riders does give you amazing mobility (10s sprint in raids is going to be very useful) it’s otherwise a really boring spec full of passives. In a busy raid with giant bosses you won’t even really see you riders. And San Layn?! Sorry what’s that again?

I’m ok with the whole wet noodle outside of pillar windows (I don’t like it, and would prefer it changed) what I really, REALLY want to change, it has been asked for years and every beta it’s the same… D&D cleave… Please remove this gimmick… Make Frostscythe and RW the main play… Buff them, change them… whatever make it work. We have so many good abilities they just need to be tuned correctly.

Riders as a concept is disapointing to me. When you face 5 dks in an epic battleground and see 5 nazgrims and so on its a very bad design. Should’ve just made the horseman buffs passive and linked to the player instead. The npcs are funny and unappealing. The buffs they give are nice but everything is too RNG to begin with.

Im not, since i play pvp mostly. Every class should do damage outside of burst window. Not wet noodle then 500% dps for 12 seconds, then useless for a minute. It’s just bad and lazy design. The frost damage portion of obliterate should be removed, and the base physical damage increased by that much.

Hah didn’t even think about that, sounds ridiculous. Would love to see AV with 40 DKs now, that would be a meme and a half.

Fully understandable. Again I don’t condone it, it’s bad design for sure. Simply pointing out that it’s not the worse problem this class/spec has. Sounds even worse in pvp, and I don’t understand why they don’t apply individual pvp modifiers to balance things out.

Idk, for me the up to 18 seconds of PoF, combined with Deathbringer feels much better. Meaning i got roughly about 27 seconds of downtime before i can set things up again. Least this is for PvP.

The concept of Riders is interesting, especially since it has some of the “fun” talents (Mounted combat for example). But it becomes ridiculous when:

Its even more obvious when you go face to face with a UH dk, and all you see is a blob of minions. I miss the days when UH was really all about DoTs…
