Untill this day it’s quite hilarious that your only argument is an event from 15 years ago something that was never repeated. I love the sound of broken alliance egos while they ignore that all post mop was 100% alliance story. Sit down.
You do realize that Sylvanas thing happened after it was clear the Whole “Gray vs Gray Conflict” as promised for BfA was complete and utter bullcrap and it was clear Sylvanas gets to be “Garrosh 2.0” and the Horde is the only ones doing morally wrong stuff (especially after Blizz cut down on Jaina going off her own deep end). It’s normal for some to not want to repeat the story beats and be forced to betray yet another Warchief.
For Garrosh the things are more complicated and not helped by the fact Blizzard had to go and retcon the lore to make Thrall look like a worse leader than he was. Basically they changed the reason to build Orgrimar in Durotar from “It resembles our old home and makes us feel at ease” to “I believe we need to atone for our sins by living in this uninhabitable place where we risk food and resource shortage”. Garrosh cared for his people (less so for other Horde Races) and did care at least initially to keep the war clean (He disapproved Sylvanas use of Valkyrs (Even if from Forsaken point it was necessary to maintain their numbers as they couldn’t reproduce) and killed one if his Generals for Targeting and torturing civilians) but was young and suffered from very lackluster advisors who at the time were mostly his yes-men.
Varok suffers because well… Sorry but the old Orc was kinda a hypocrite. He was the one that drafted the plan of attack on Darnassus and believed the War was the right choice but ended up backing out after Sylvanas went too far. If she didn’t cross that line he would likely still support the war effort. As for Baine… I really dislike him because he’s rarely allowed to be more than Alliance Mouthpiece in Horde. Not once especially in his modern appearance does he seem to express any concern about Horde’s stance instead insisting on accepting every single condition laid out by Alliance.
Now put yourself from the alliance’s point of view:
If you are kaldorei (I don’t play main kaldorei, but it annoys me too): Your race is destroyed, your capital is completely destroyed, and Blizzard’s own texts inform you that only a few of you remain. The elves are practically emigrating from all the areas that traditionally belonged to them.
All to see how in the end Sylvanas is forgiven and will return in Midnight.
The Fourth War ends and you don’t even get the sense that the Horde has paid, in fact I constantly see jokes about Teldrassil burning.
And as we mentioned above, in Mop, after SOO, it’s the alliance that give territories to the Horde. At least there you’re a little more satisfied, because Garrosh is going to be punished (and his death in Wod doesn’t leave you indifferent), but it’s normal for the alliance to tell you you’ve won a war, but it seems you haven’t.
Someone brought up the example of Arathi: we won the warfront, and now we have orcs living there and saying the territory “can be shared” and trollbane practically crawling around to show Geya’rah (the same orc I hate because she said she wanted to eradicate the Draenei from Azeroth) that they are good people.
As an alliance, you get tired of taking hits and never getting the corresponding revenge.
And then you see Horde players criticizing the Alliance for defending themselves or committing acts like the “Dalaran Purge.”
Is the Alliance supposed to stand by while the Horde genocides them? Can’t we exact revenge or inflict damage?
I’m sorry, but the cries of the horde players smell a lot.
Look, I will try one last time:
As an Alliance player, whenever something bad happens to You the game tells You: You were wronged by the bad people and You are right to be upset about it.
As a Horde player, whenever something bad happens to You the game tells You: You deserved this, this is the result of Your actions, and You should feel bad for Your actions - but the catch is - players have absolutely no influence over the narrative choices of the games writing team!
I understand that You may feel that way (although “never” is an overstatement), but please understand that on the other side people are not only not getting corresponding revenge for their losses, but are also denied the right to be justly upset about it.
You did inact real damage. It’s never the other way around. All your leaders being alive show it.
Night elf Tree
thread over.
Was avenged already.
really ?
how so ?
not sure how you can compare a world tree and 100 thousand elves killed as " Avenged already"
Saurfang and Nathanos are dead and Sylvanas is in the Maw.
3 people vs 100 thousand unnamed night elves
just another 99,997 more to go
see you in the battlefield horde scum
See this kind of reaction is why Blizzard ignores you now. They gave a you a fitting revenge still it is enough for your kind.
maybe once we destroy silvermoon
we can say its avenged
Clown post. I am done debating with you. Have fun.
Hey Erevien… HOW ABOUT SOME INTROSPECTION?!
The gross irony on display here is sickening.
I suffered 10 years of my faction not being relevant for the lore. Now I am loud because it can’t get worse from here.
Please do not encourage them…
They already killed all our leaders. The Horde is in shambles already so I will protest to make things better.
ill trade you 3 alliance leaders killed for 100k blood elves killed ( preferably silvermoon city too )
deal ?
They are either ragebaiting or have the self-awareness of their helfers. Either way a meaningful discussion with them is impossible, so I suggest not wasting anymore of your time on them
This is what they don’t quite understand. xD
