When will we finally be able to avenge Rastakhan?

I wasn’t really trying to contradict your point, just add fuel to the fire.

This, and give more reasons why they are denied the right to “retributions”

They can’t ask the horde for “justice for their losses” when they are the ones who started a war and, on top of that, committed the worst crimes.

It would be unacceptable that the alliance, which is the victim of the attack, to have to pay compensation to its aggressor for having defended itself, and this is something that people like Erevien don’t seem to understand.

Could be criticized about Blizzard always making the horde the villain? Yes, it could be. But even those who play in the horde do so knowing what they’re getting into.

I want everything the alliance has and I will accept no less. I want all my veterans from the RTS times alive and on our side AND making us the winner of the faction war. If Blizzard can’t do that because it would hurt alliance feefees then they prove here and now how biased they truly are.

:dracthyr_nod:

Including the almost complete destruction of one of your races? :o

Kill the Tauren and torch Thunderbluff. They won’t be missed.

The only good race in the horde. But then they “don’t want to be the bad guys.”

:dracthyr_hehe_animated:

They betrayed the Horde multiple times.

Only to the rottenest apples. He never betrayed Thrall.

Betraying Sylvanas when she wanted to destroy the entire universe by helping a bald guy it’s not considered treason. In any case, it was your banshee queen who betrayed you for a bald man. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Jeesh. Threads like these really outline how anyone will make a points game out of anything.

What next? Horde rogue bias because it was easier to farm Fadeleaf in Barrens? Actually, i’d love that.

The bias exist because in the lore the Horde gets nothing from Blizzard for the past 9 years straight, that is the issue I have with this. It isn’t minor, we are excluded and forced to take quests from alliance heroes all the time and that is super annoying.

Yeah…no

Tauren have a history now of backstabbing us at the worst possible moments.

The conflict in Cataclysm wasn’t started by Horde though. At that point while there wasn’t fully open war though the skirmishes between the two factions were happening because both sides pushed for them. The proper war didn’t start until the high end of the expansion. Ergo Camp Taraujo wasn’t the fault of the Horde. The whole deal there started because of Dwarves deciding to strip mine ancestral grounds of Taurens and not leaving despite the protests of Natives. Just so happens that one of the casualties during the retaliation of Taurens was a son of Alliance Officer.

Hardly. In early days of WoW Thrall’s New Horde wasn’t outright villainous. Old players didn’t sign up for this.

New players who are just now starting playing the game aren’t in any way warned about the imbalance I wrote about, so You can’t say that they know what they’re getting into.

The only people that know about this state of affairs are current players (arguably, mostly Horde players - because this thread shows that many Alliance players don’t even notice this imbalance), and as the existence of this thread proves, they aren’t pleased with this imbalance.

Honestly this Imbalance is why, while I’m not appreciating the fact Blizzard chose to entirely ignore the tensions between factions, I’m glad they’re not writing a war story again. While early on they handled small scale hostilities well whenever the conflict escalates into full blown war they can’t help but fall back into making Horde the bad guys. The further expansions go the more Alliance ends up as generic good guys that do no ill and Horde gets to play generic villains that commit war crimes for giggles. Sad but true.

The Cata conflict was started by the animosity of Garrosh, who also had plans to conquer Ashenvale to build a second city even larger than Orgrimmar.

Capturing proto-drakes and magnataurs was preparation for this war.

It is Garrosh who begins the invasion of Ashenvale, the Stonetalon Mountains, Azshara and Gilneas.

This witch elves murderer must be head off

BURN TEH WITCH

But many people came from playing the Warcraft series, where orcs are mostly portrayed as villains, and Thrall is one of the few exceptions.

Even with the whitewashing of the orcs in Warcraft 3, they are clearly portrayed as a much more belligerent and problematic faction than the Alliance.

In fact, even if you read the old (now retconned) description of the forsaken, they were described as evil beings who used the horde as a mere tool. So even Thrall’s horde in vanilla already had certain dark undertones.

Most of Erevien’s threads, if you look at his history, are completely meaningless. He’s not asking for the Horde to be the good guys, but rather for the Alliance to be wiped out.

Horde players “don’t want to be the villains” but then choose to be “Loyalist” and remain pro-Sylvanas even after her true plans are revealed, or claim “Garrosh did nothing wrong”, or they call for the death of Horde characters who do try to follow the good way, like Varok or Baine.

A little incoherent.

and mag`har were given land in arathi- yoiui know, teh guys who fought against in the 4th wa aginst teh alliance and were part of the mass genocide.

its liek to say sas a püolish, syr germans you lost and commietd genocide but since not all were part of it, you can still have all part land east of tehn vistula as compensation.

yes, both city wee lost BIt here is the thing, in case of darnasus it hit ahrder since it was a supide attack and many died during teh buning while hode had time to evca undercity, since tehy knew alianc ewoud seek retrubion, and horde had time to prepare like we saw in the horde version of the sneacrio, so civilin caultys were basily zero.

so take everthin for teh horde so allaicne had nothing ans woud be unpalyable…c`mon verone know taht is stupid and we ahd that alread dicussed 9 times

which will never happend since what you want is a third reich horde, for an horde endsieg which woud commit mass genocie, basily removing teh allaince from azeroth and make ith therore not playable.
just to eas your peronal ego.

and taht will never happen-a dn again, we had THAT discussin muliple times already.

point to cata
and that why your wrong, kido

he already intend to wipe out teh allaicne during wotlk in nothrend (Borean tunda xcen), in a moment whoicu woud be stupid as hell sicne horde alone woud stand no chanch aghinst arthas
AND as a reminder, his warmongerin started already back there ans not as many horde palyer claimed he was written absurd/conflicted in cata.

Look, try for a second separate lore from player experience.

It’s one thing to tell players: if You choose Horde, You’ll be playing the edgy bad boys of this game.

It’s completely another to tell players: You’ll lose cities and characters You like and we’ll make it look like You deserve it.

What I mean to say is that You can make the faction look edgy without making the PLAYERS - who have absolutely no influence over the narrative - feel bad and punished for choosing the faction that appealed to them.

And it’s hard to blame PLAYERS for not liking the story where any kind of loss on their side is described as righteous and just.
