In the meantime work on whats in your control, like getting better at the class you are on.
Probably some time in the upcoming weeks. After race to world 1st 100%.
Normally I would jump into the boat of nerfing overperforming classes.
But this time the truth has to be told: The new tier sets are bonkers for some classes.
In other seasons they were… dunno … 5% extra dps? Something along those lines.
But this season some tiers are 22% more dps, and others a mere 3%. So… back to havoc:
Simulations say his tier set is 4% extra damage. Elemental shaman is 22%. So knowing that blizz has balanced classes arround 4p tier set, I am not surprised Havoc is overperforming.
So this time, better to wait untill we all have our 4p.
Either way, its not even close to as bad as Mage and Ret were in 10.1.7 and 10.0.5 respectevely. So any nerfs they get should be minor tweeks rather than across the board.
That’s the 4p. Most of havoc’s power comes from the 2p, which is why havoc players were using their tier token to get it rather than waiting to see which gear slot theyneeded to fill after getting 3 random pieces.
It got reworked this patch so it will most likely not get nerfed.
Chuckles. After wfr the usual tuning pass happens. Havoc will get slapped back to shadowlands
