i love this class, but when i look for vids of SP doing mythics, unlike other classes i just find posts saying we run too slow to get invited
Easily the worst spec in Remix.
Myself see priests more play holy or discipline as healers in premade group raids.
Very rarest shadow priests yeah.
Also I heard shadow priests had hard in Heroic world.
I dunno, I’m stomping with a SP and with speed gear, Body and Soul passive and Angelic Feather I can run at a near constant 240% move speed. Survivability is upper tier for a DPS spec.
Had a much worse time with Demo Warlock, Frost Mage, Feral Druid (survivability and speed was great though) and Fury Warrior tbh.
yeh mine only had 580ish gear score, in heroic solo i can do enough damage but if im hit its leathal
It will eventually get better with gear, until then it may be a good idea to look into stuff that may help you survive better, like:
- Void Tendrils
A simple root, it will however let you get away from most stuff for long enough that you may survive - Nature path on artifact
Highmountain Fortitude is quite nice, getting shielded for part of the dmg you took can help you survive for a bit longer - Nature artifact ability
This thing also has multiple uses, enemies hit by it get immobilized and you get increased cooldown recharge, you can use it to either get away from mobs or combine it with remix time and get massive cooldown recharge boost (this is legit crazy stuff), as a bonus you also get class resource boost and a chunk of haste - Get more speed and leech on gear
Part of getting away from stuff is being able to run from the stuff, go for gear that has speed on it, once you hit that sweet 49% speed bonus, go for leech on rest of the gear - Archon hero talents
There is a choice node on the left side of the tree, you can either go for a delayed second fear, or a slow debuff on Halo, this can also mean you can keep distance from mobs while Halo is up and firing
