Ever since its rework retribution has been one of the best dps in each season, yet they keep buffing it more for each season. Now we are on last season of current expansion and its still only received buffs for yet another season while it were overperforming in first place and didn’t need any buffs for PvP. Yet they are nerfing other worse classes on off season and seasons starts tuning but nothing on ret. So where are the retri nerfs. Thanks.

Ret Players would have a meltdown when they are not S Tier for once.
And even before the rework Ret was fine. Shadowlands was insanse for Ret.

The amount of complaint I see on other classes than retribution I figured we can start talking about the one that has dodged several nerfs already while everything else is seemingly being tuned down but retri still somehow is dodging its nerfs and outperforming for 3 seasons now.

The balancing in WoW was and will always be bad, i would even say it only gets worse. 
My biggest problem with Ret is how easy this spec is. Since the rework in Dragonflight Ret is by far the easiest spec in the whole game while being this strong.
Which in my eyes make it even harder to balance this spec. Kinda like MM Hunter, it either does zero dmg or way too much dmg, there is no in between.
But with Ret it’s not only the dmg, its the whole design of the spec. It’s way too easy overall.
You can’t just nerf the dmg or defensive because this spec doesn’t have much to offer.
Rets are the masters of sandbagging
They collectively stopped playing start of last season, when ret was completely top tier but just not doing top damage, and blizzard boosted their damage when they saw representation low
We can all learn from the ret community how to execute such top tier sandbagging
The dedication. The sacrifice. The collective will. They are the masters.

I died so many times to ret paladins.
No matter if you survive their bubbles and lay on hands ( which is like you fight a boss with 3x HP) you are still fated to lose.

Also can be immune to magical dmg for 18 seconds and continue attacking you while immune of course

They also do insane damage just using the one button rotation feature, as the detection weak aura has shown me today. I’ll have to gear my pala this season.

Seems like this is something we need to bring in discussion then of retri as they seemingly keep dodging nerfs but main focus seem to be on other weaker classes instead. Good to hear about that aswell.
I agree that it’s probably the best community ever for this kind of collective manipulation, they have pulled wool over the eyes of the developers for so many years it’s incredible.
It is sooooo toxic, but at the same time it works ! It worked in WoD, in Shadowlands, in Dragonflight, and now The War Within. They have always had a good basic popularity, but they used it to engineer everything we see today : from solo q to unkitteable melees and big-angel-dudes who attack you from 30 yards with full burst damage.
In cata/wrath there was a saying : " Nobody likes the game when Rets are good "
Well… Nobody but Rets and let me tell you that they are loving it now.
Edit: the worst thing I have seen back in Dragon Flight, is when they collectively decided to bully big streamers into not criticising the ret rework. Even now, years after, the content creators self-censor themselves for fear they would trigger the wrath of the paladin community. It’s got blown out of proportions so far out… I don’t know what can stop it.

yeah its crazy they nerf frost mage again and never touch pala retri or mm hunter now im getting 10 million hits into 8 million hit black arrow ignoring walls and you cant interrupt this game is a joke

The Paladin discord was having a meltdown the other day cause they lost 2 dps or something. It can to a point where the moderator had to shut down the Ret channel.

What? Did they really shut down ret channel because of that?
The whole season makes no sense now, got my elite set, wanted to push more but as a warrior its painful 40 mins que to get deleted from existence by the overtunned classes.
Pally being one of them, they have so much burst potential and so often and the utility alone would make them win…

Yeah, season is really bonkers and alot things not getting nerfs they should gain like mm, I just got tired of seeing all the gaslight of only arcane and warlock getting all the attention (warlocks even lol) so figured to bring out the real overperformer to light which is still escaping nerfs and only being buffed each season for some competitively unlogical reason which I cant make sense of. So this thread is for discussing about how retribution is somehow still not nerfed yet.
