Both in game and in the forums. In game I can’t find any clear way of opening a ticket anymore because it just keeps sending me in circles and opens links to wowhead. I want to talk to a GM so they can respond to my inquiries.
Forum wise I am seeing next to no engagement from blizzard with fans. There are so many issues with the game right now and there are no blues that i can see answering questions or keeping us informed. I’m not speaking as a fan right now, I’m speaking as a customer who is trying to get in touch with some sort of in game customer service. I’m a mage and I want to know if arcane spec is going to be getting a rework any time soon so it can compete with frost and fire. I want to know why the rep boost from the anniversary along with the 30% dreanor garrison rep boost from the trade post is still only giving me 1 rep per mob from the areas where you have to grind mobs. Since im a returning player, it used to be a simple matter of opening a ticket and waiting for a response. Now all I can see is ‘post a suggestion’.
FIrstly, GMs don’t moderate the forums; their job is to deal with in-game issues in World of Warcraft, issues which I may add can be greatly resolved by visiting the likes of wowhead or other trusted fansites. They’re there to uphold the ToS as well.
The reason the service for the ticket is directing you to fansites is that clearly, GMs don’t deal with these kinds of questions. You have to remember they are not developers. So you’re selecting options in the service which it knows that aren’t for a GM to answer, but rather the forum or a resource site that may provide information.
It’s tickets like this that hold back tickets that need genuine assistance, IE a payment issue, account issue ect.
I know they’re not developers, but they should have insights. If the questions I have don’t have answers that I can easily find then I would rather talk to one of their support team, especially with why my character is not getting the rep boost with dreanor factions. There are no dailies apart from the ones in Tannan Jungle so I’m struggling to see what the point in a 30% increase would be if it doesn’t affect the factions that require you to grind mobs for rep.
Yeah I know mate, it’s just sadly the state of blizzard service. My advice is pretend you got a bug, make a ticket and someone will answer.
The arcanic concern is out of the loop anyway, I Don’t recall GM leaking infos… however if you’re supposed to get increased rep and you’re not, then That’s a bug? Submit it then. They do reply to bugs complain. Did it in the past, worked for me.

One thing that works fine in wow is the ticketing system. Most responses are within 24 hours and that’s better than support in any other game I’ve played.

Well you clearly have no idea as to what GM’s do since you’re asking their opinions on stuff that the devs do. There’s no connection there man. Only contact a GM if you have an in-game issue or something similar, don’t waste everybody else’s time by asking them silly questions.
