Yes but same can be said about NEs and Forsaken now.
I wonder what heritage armor woudl suite for Humans and Orcs as they allready have pretty much every armor the artworks ever displayed on them.
Already summarized it few months back.
There’s a lot of possibilities we can go with. I’ll list some that come to my mind.
- HD Grand Marshal Armor - pretty self explainatory, still one of the best sets this game has even seen and it just screams WarCraft human, with Gryphon shoulders/Lion badges

He isn’t likely to use it anymore so giving it to players won’t hurt anything or anyone. The Gryphon/Lion shoulder combo look especially cool

I think this one is probably the least likely of them all, just because it would be red. Not sure how this one would look like in-game, but I suppose it would use animal skins and some mean looking plate
- Footman set galore - we already have several of them, but if they did it right with nice ornaments I think it could still work. If they go this route, I think it should have several recolors like Mag’har heritage armor, blue representing Stormwind, white Lordaeron and red Stromgarde. Could even feature purple/orange/black/green for Dalaran, Alterac, Gilneas and Kul Tiras if they want to go full in.

I can see the quest-line going several ways too. It could deal with either the history of Stormwind (think the first war) or it’s future (reforming some order like Brotherhood of the Horse or Conjurers of Stormwind), or it can show us Anduin Lothar and the story of his life. It can also just as easily be about Sons of Lothar and the second war, maybe even featuring the Draenor expedition. If they want W3 call-back, it can be about Arthas’s journey. If the focus is the origin of humanity, maybe it can all be about Stromgarde and Arathor. Or it can be about rebuilding something - maybe Southshore? Really, a lot of possibilities here.
Hmm i completely lost track about human armors, can’t even say which ones were now ingame and which aren’t.
But I also think that a HD version of the grand Marshall armor will be the most obvious one since the normal footmen armor is allready ingame several times.
Actually Night Elves got armor of the Army of the Black Moon. Its not their race gear. Many Night Elves fans don’t want to transform their Kaldorei into vengeance machine. A monster whos purpose is only to kill for vengeance. For many people being a warrior of the Army of the Black Moon is the same as showing that Sylvanas manage to brake them.
So, Night Elves really need ordinary Sentinels gear instead. More racial colors.
For example even this gear of the Army of the Black Moon on the Darhskores Warfront, had aspirant type of gear which was never added into a game:

-and those colors of this armor looks more as Kaldorei heritage armor.

The Aspirant gear was added to the game, it was the Season 2 blue pvp gear.
And you can buy it in the peepatch as an mog assemble at Bolarus PvP vendor for 16 pvp marks of honor.
(Sadly no Weapons of this color scheme are within that ensenble)
What is missing is the mythic version of this color type.
What I meant with it:
We recently got a full set of specificly NE themed gear, so i think it is rather unlikely that we will get our heritage armor very soon, since other races are in more need for now.
But I agree I want this sentinel armor set that is in the game for NPCs:

Agree. Only this set must have more 3d details, and must be longer to the ground.

Yes of course the ornaments should use the 3d model tech.
But funnyly I wouldn’t even mind if not. I just wanted this armor set for my NEs since classic.
This and a moonglaive weapon.
