Where Can I go to get support in game?

Hey, does anyone know the best way to get in-game support? Now I have two problems in-game at the moment. I have written so many tickets, and all I am getting is an auto-reply message, and they just closed the ticket and marked it resolved. with no clear advice or help

One of the problems is I didn’t get my essence of Kaja mite on this week’s reset, and the GM told me it comes out in 2 weeks. I should be on my 4th now, but I only had 3.

You’re not alone with this issue. And to answer your question, support is mostly an illusion recently. Keep writing tickets and bug reports, but don’t expect too much

You’d be on your fourth if you have KSM/AotC/PvP, otherwise it’s three.

pvp is 1600 yeaH?

There’s nothing a GM can do about that, they are not allowed to give out items anymore. All they will do is give information and suggest you make a bug report, which it sounds as if what you’ve been given.

Although its never been confirmed, reading between the lines of various comments over the years, I surmise that too many players were “socially engineering” GM’s to give them free items or items they weren’t entitled to, so they lost the ability to give out items.

Dude, they can see what I have been given and what I have that is BS. Sorry.

Yes, they probably can see it but did you read what else Trovlak said: ‘they are not allowed to give out items anymore’ We don’t know this for certain, but so many people have been in the same situation for similar things and they’ve not been able to do it, I think it’s pretty certain.

And still they do give out items for obvious bugs. Or whatever is obvious by their definition

Hey there,

So as a general point, Game Masters will indeed not give out items or currencies to address individual cases, even if lost due to a bug.

This is to prevent situations where we’d have to ask hundreds or thousands of players to contact us for assistance (as well as the fact that players who don’t contact us would be left without).

Instead, if something is indeed not working as it should, we’d want the issue to be reported as a bug so that it can get fixed by the developers, and then have all affected players healed up automatically.

As for the issue at hand (missing a catalyst charge) we already get a lot of tickets about this, almost exclusively caused by misremembering or confusion about how this is meant to work.

For more info, please check out the support article here: Didn’t Receive Catalyst Charge.

If you still believe there is an actual bug at play here, please do report it as such for the benefit of not only yourself, but all players.

Many thanks!

Can you clarify what tickets and the whole support system are for, then? Because if GMs cannot actually solve a problem, what do they do? Whats the use-case where I would want to write a ticket? I mean, I write a ticket because I need help with a problem I cannot solve on my own. If a GM cannot actually solve problems anymore, why keep that system around at all? I’m not sure I underrstand that correctly and would be glad for any information as to the use-cases where I’d want to write a ticket.

There are bugs in the game that literally get not fixed for years, and If GMs will not restore the affected characters, then who will? I can hardly think Blizzard would be deliberately sabotage the playerbase in such a way, or would they?

Generally what this means is if a bug is known but has’t been fixed yet is because it is not fixable without breaking something else. So they have to allocate more devtime on it - generally on the backburner when they’re focusing on fixing current content issues. It does gets pushed rarely though.

For example, a character is stuck but the self unstuck character option did not work for you. So a GM has to manually move them elsewhere or take a closer look.

Or, you used item restoration. However, you received no items but it went on cooldown.
